The nation of Lafe has become famous (perhaps infamous) for it's creation of mutants, that is races that have been artificially created either from scratch or typically from the base genetics of several races combined. These mutants have since spread out from Lafe and can be found in various places, though the strongest concentration still lies in Lafe. The following list describes a number of these mutant races in brief:

Minority Mutants: Minority Mutants is the classification given to thosevast numbers of mutants who are created as one off's are not numerous enough to become a race in their own right.

Faerion: An adaption of Funok genetics, crossing it with some flying creatures to create a flying version of the Funok.

Katanius: A combination of Katani genetics, gigantic wings and some really nasty biological weaponary.

Merfolk: Human and Elayan's mutations that are created for operating in underwater enviroments.

Morriette: A flying humanoid based on a combination of Human, Elayan and Mistelareia genetics with something else thrown in for the mix.
