History: The history of the Cyran Dor confederacy begins like many nations with the tail of two fleets. However, there was no wars or battles that merged the two sides. Before even the two fleets of Cyran and Dor hand begun to colonise the area, the leaders of both fleets sat down at a huge conferance table and signed a treaty that formed the alliance that became the Cyran Dor Confederacy. Led by a mighty warrior from the original galaxy known as Grand General Bozz, the fleets settled quickly.

What happened for the first few centuries is well recorded. Upon arriving in C69, Cyran Dor had discovered a race of aliens called the Huoegetic were already setting out and establishing colonies in the area. The race was quite possibly as evil as a race could come, for it enslaved two of the native races in the same area, the Atiliak and the Monasil, introducing them to the modern technological age before they were ready.

The Huoegetic immediately took offense at Cyran Dor's presence and before the first colonisation ships had even touched down, Cyran Dor came under heavy assault. Several peaceful ships fell in that brutal hour to the bombardment of the Huoegetic and thousands of Humans and Elayans were enslaved. The rest of Cyran Dor's fleets immediately scattered, falling back from the unannounced and deadly attack. Under Bozz's orders, many ships and their crew went to ground, making contact with Atiliak and Monasil rebels and helped arm them with the technology and knowledge they finally needed to be able to strike back at their captives. Meanwhile, the Bozz himself led a fleet of vessels and the left the vicinity.

Where Bozz and his fleet travelled in C69 for the next one hundred sols is unknown. What is known is that Bozz kept in constant contact with the rebels and where ever he was he directed his forces with precision in their strikes, weakening Huoegetic supply lines and hampering their progress. It's is thought that without Cyran Dor and the rebels early efforts against the Huoegetic that the race could have easily grown large enough to enslave many, if not all of the races within a very short space of time.

However, after a hundred sols of travelling abroad (many suspect that Bozz went to the other colonies and sought resources and further knowledge to help strike back against the Huoegetic), the Bozz returned. Though Human, he had not seemed to age beyond his prime and he now brought with him new technologies and a fleet ready to take the war back to the Huoegetic. Uniting the rebels, the following war lasted a hundred and fifty sols during which the Cyran Dor Rebellion struck hard and fast. At first, the results were good, the Huoegetic found themselves being forced into a defensive position. Then as time went on, Cyran Dor got the Huoegetic on the run before turning it into a bloody hunt to track down every single Huoegetic vessel and wipe them from the face of the universe. Genocide? Deffinately, but in the minds of the Cyran Dor rebellion, the atrocities that the Huoegetic had caused meant they deserved nothing less.

Once the Huoegetic were wiped out, Bozz finally managed to convince the rebellions to settle into a nation. Taking the name Cyran Dor Confederacy, the Atiliak and the Monasil immediately signed up with their Human and Elayan allies. Gathering a council of strong advisors around him, Bozz directed the nation in colonial expansion, strengthening it's borders. This was a job made all the easy by the way in which the rebellion had taken over many of the Huoegetic colonies and turned them to their own purposes.

Who or What were the Huoegetic?
Most historians will not even recognise the name Huoegetic. Only Cyran Dor's best historians seem to have access to the documentation upon it and there fore more direct information on the Huoegetic is hard to come by. No one seems to be able to pinpoint their appearance or what their characteristics were like as a race. Some people even consider them a myth made up to glamourise Cyran Dor's begginings. Yet there are some in the know who maintain that the Huoegetic did indeed exist. Some are not even sure that the Huoegetic were indigenious to C69.
The Huoegetic today.
For most people, the race of the Huoegetic ends at this point in history, at a time when most nations were not even established. However, within the corridors of power in Cyran Dor, there is a department that maintains specialist troops who are sent out to roam the galaxy, hunting for Huoegetic who escaped the war and erradicate them for the safety of the galaxy.

In 81'364, Cyran Dor was approached by the Latareia Federation, looking for assistance in the war that the Resbinarge Empire had suddenly spring loaded upon them. Agreeing on the promise of weapons technology and being able to occupy some of the systems they took from the Empire, the now long lived Grand General agreed, declaring war and personnally leading Cyran Dor against the oppressive Empire.

However, it was during a decissive strike by Cyran Dor into the Resbinarge Empires terroitry in 82'397 SC that Grand General Bozz recieved a deadly blow as he battled against Resbinarge elite forces. Though the strike was successful in the end, the Grand General decided to place himself in Cyrostatis so he could protect the nation in it's times of greatest need. Meanwhile, the nation of Cyran Dor turned to a more militant approach to government and a new Grand General stepped into place, continuing the war against Resbinarge.

After much blood shed, it was finally recognised that in 83'291 that neither side was getting anywhere in their war and Grand General Yophistia and Emperor Goltarn signed a non-aggression pact, effectively ending the war. Both sides drew back and rebuilt, keeping a careful eye on the other incase hostilities ever broke out again.

For a while then, peace came over the Confederacy, but it was one which occured under Military ruling for Cyran Dor was not prepared to be taken ever again with it's defenses down. Though there was no war, Cyran Dor maintained a large core of well trained troops for the eventuality that someday war could break out again and when it did, Cyran Dor would be there to help the weak and look after it's own interrests.

It was in 86'438 that a Cyran Dor ambassador discovered the plight of the mutants within the nation called Lafe. Speaking with these mutants on the behalf of the Cyran Dor government, a plan was conceeded in which Cyran Dor would assist these mutants in gaining freedom and teaching Lafe a lesson in ethics through blood shed. In 86'447, around 30% of Lafes demon armies switched allegiances, joining with Cyran Dor as Cyran Dor went to war with Lafe. At first, Cyran Dor seemed unstoppable until Lafe managed to rally a defense against the new aggressor.

Then, in an unexpected move in 87'105 SC, the Independant Alliance joined sides with Lafe and took the war back to Cyran Dor and by 87'698 SC, Cyran Dor found itself on the retreat and losing ground. It was in this time that Grand General Maxarius decided to wake up Bozz for the first time to lead Cyran Dor once again.

Under the direction of Bozz, a defence of Cyran Dor was organised while at the same time the Independant Alliance pulled back from the war while the IFA was formed. Seeking out allies to aid him, Bozz managed to convince in 88'003 the League of Independance to join sides with Cyran Dor and the battle was once again taken back to Lafe, forcing them out of Cyran Dor terriotry. Once Lafe had been pushed back, the war came to a stand still and Bozz and the Technocrat's of Lafe finally signed a peace treaty in 88'252 SC.

Peace once more settled over Cyran Dor, though only for a millenia. In 89'634, a major dispute occured between the Independant Alliance and Cyran Dor that got very hot indeed. Cyran Dor accused the Independant Alliance of spying on Cyran Dor installations and stealing technology while the Independant Alliance accused Cyran Dor of pretty much the same stuff. No one to this day is exactly sure as to who was right or wrong, but Bozz was woken up once again from his slumber and brought Cyran Dor military action down upon the Independant Alliance.

This war would last nearly four millenia. After the first century, Bozz returned to his cyrostatis sleep however, considering the battle a tiring and boring one. Perhaps this is one of the reasons it went on so long, without his leadership, but the point he made to the leaders of Cyran Dor was that his abilities and knowledge should not be wasted and they should be by now more than capable of looking after themselves. Since that time, Bozz has been left to Cyrostatis and has not be woken up since.

As wars go, especially for Cyran Dor, this one was rather placid, more like a series of strikes into one anothers terriotries than any real attempt to conquor the other nation. In 93'467 SC, it was agreed that the war was really getting neither side anywhere, and a halt to all hostilities was called.

Then, in 95'273, Cyran Dor uncovered the location of hidden Lance (one of the southern nations) operative base within their nation. Considering the pirate like raids recieved from Lance craft over the last numerous millenia, Cyran Dor was now getting a little irritated by the supposedly rogue vessels. Using information gleaned from the hidden operatives however, Cyran Dor finally uncovered the truth that no Lance raid was rogue, and that the Lances had seeded bases throughout the whole of C69. This evidence was circumstantial to most nations however when Cyran Dor declared it in the Assembly of Nations, but Cyran Dor realised how major a threat the Lances were and proceeded to declare war upon the Lances.

The war continues to this day. The borders to the Lance nation itself is too well armed for Cyran Dor to actually penetrate properly into the main nation, but the set up of the Lances means that their nation exists more outside of that area than inside. Cyran Dor has spent the last several millenia trying to track down and destroy any signs of Lances anywhere in C69.

Current Status: The continuing war with the Lances preoccupies a lot of Cyran Dor's attentions. Their military travels the galaxy looking for signs of Lance activity, aiding nations when they are raided by the Lances or acting upon any evidence of hidden Lance bases. Their government is meanwhile making good head way in convincing the other nations of the severe threat that is the Lances. Factories and Laboratories concentrate on producing new weapons to fight the Lances. Meanwhile, specially trained individuals and groups of Lance Hunters scour C69, hunting out Lance Hidden Operatives and acting upon any hint of Lance information.
