As we slip and slide along we hear the
carolers singing off in the distance. Oh,
what a night for romance. The holiday spirit
fills the air as the excitement and
electricity surrounds us. We snuggle close
together so the heat from our bodies can
keep us warm. Like young children we glide
along not a care in the world. For,
tomorrow is Christmas day.

The sound of a branch breaking as we go by
from the weight of the snow. Lights from
Christmas tree's and houses fills the air
as does the smell of the fireplaces burning
to ward off the chilly night air. We drink
our hot chocolate to warm us on the inside.
Oh, what a night.

The corn cob pipe and the stove top hats are
everywhere. Snowballs flying through the air
as one lands in our carriage. Giggling we
throw one back as we dart off down the snow
covered streets. Excitement is in the air for
tomorrow is Christmas day.

A time to reflect on the past year
accomplishments. Christmas is not
about how much money you spend but
gifts given from the heart. It's
the visit to the nursing home putting
smiles on the faces of the elderly.
It's giving a coat to a child that has
none. It's sitting down with friends
and thanking God for all the blessings
we have. It's the smile upon a young
childs face as they believe in Santa.

This is the time of year to remember
all loved ones and please remember the
people who have no family, because without
family this can be a very lonely time of
year. The suicide rate is the highest
during this time of year. Spread the
cheer and holiday happiness around.
