Recurrent Cancer

Unfortunately, there are some cases where the cancer reoccurs after treatment. (Assuming that original kidney cancer has been removed) It may come back in the original area or in another part of the body. There would then be more treatment. If cancer has spread only to one or a few areas in the body, then there would again be surgery to remove the cancer. Radiation therapy to relieve symptoms is another treatment. Then there’s biological therapy and Chemotherapy. (http://www.oncologychannel.com/kidneycancer)
