If you can remember Newton's law of forces:

"If there is an action, there will be an equal but opposite reaction."

This is related to the Law of Cause and Effect in Buddhism.

Karma means your deeds, whether good or bad in life. Whatever you do, -good or bad is your Karma. Good Karma will be blessed with Good & Bad Karma will be repaid with Bad..... Whatever you do will be repaid, if not in this life, may be in your next one.

In the cycle of birth and rebirths be bring all karmas of our previous life along. To know your past life, look at what you are today. To preview your next (future) life, look at what you do today.

So,...

-Be Respectful to the Buddha, Monks and the Elderly.

-Do not Kill, Steal, Lie, Commit Arson and Sexual Misconduct.

-Let go sentinent beings, do not rear birds in cages - Let them free!

-Do your best in not consuming so much meat - eat more greens (they are good).

-Help the aged, the needy and others who are desperate.

-Donate generously to the monastry, the orphanage and the old folks home.

-Be filial to your parents.

-Help the society in whatever way you can and not expecting any favour in return from them.

-Do not offend others & do not hurt any living being in any way.
