The EC Logo (Villakku) symbolically reflects the EC's key vision that is giving light to the downtrodden community in their social, educational and economical upliftment

Founder's Message:

Dear fellow ECs and loving people,

Vanakkam!

It is a known fact that all communities should participate in nation-building if a nation aspires to fulfill its needs. The history of most progressive countries like USA and UK has shown that participation of all sections of the society is key to the well being of that society and thus the prosperity of the nation. These countries seemed to have realised that lack of participation of underprevileged communities especially the downtrodden, depressed and under developed would obstruct the economic prosperity of the nation. Poverty, drug addictness and illegal and terrorist activities would then entrap such communities, which will cause a serious crackdown in both the constitutional and societal set up. Having floundered with what things to do in life while being uneducated, unaware and unemployed these people will have nothing special to improve but to waste their efforts in wrong doings. This is the current status of the Indian downtrodden community, i.e., both the depressed and backward class people. As largely being ignorant, illiterate, unemployed and unaware on socio-economic developments, the plight of these 80% Indian aborigins is as worse as orphans. Especially, their future seems to be very blurred, as there is no hope for them to equip and develop themselves economically, socially and politically. As stated above until and unless they equip and prepare themselves for the changing needs of the nation and the global impacts as well, the community will be stalled in its developments and far from reaching its destiny.

Having said that the participation of all communities in nation-building is critical for the nation to be successful as a nation, and having witnessed that the participation of the underprivileged is critical for a nation to progress and become strong, the time is ripe now to act on the fate and future of the depressed and downtrodden people of India.

What do I mean by the term 'participation' is a question to be answered before inquiring into the problems associated with lack of participation. It is initiatives taken by a certain community in uplifting itself economically, socially and politically and thus contributing to the nation in all these three perspectives. Within India, let us now see the status of the depressed community as to its participation. To be more deterministic, one could easily conclude that such participation of the depressed community is virtually nil. What impedes them to embrace the path of development and involve in nation-building? It is the total failure on the part of the community to adopt the proper direction itself. It in turn depends on the lack of proper leadership; the direction to change itself! The direction to change others! The direction to lead the nation in all dimension. No one movement or the leadership in the past has provided such direction to this disadvantaged mass. The root cause is the lack of use of moral weapon. For any community to survive, improve and take a lead path it must properly use the moral weapon, which is social education and subsequent social revolution.

The moral weapon will shape the community with a good behaviour, good attitude, enlightened future, good culture, visionary and creative approaches and leadership qualities. It will also keep that community away from wrong doings and embracing the path of impurity. Therefore, is it not the right weapon for the depressed community to take it into hand right now? Is it not the weapon we must use now to shape our community towards embracing developments and keep it away from wrong doings? If the moral weapon can promise our community the development that we need now, why not we take it into our hands right now? What can the moral weapon do to a community? It is like a two edged knife; with one edge we can operate ourselves as to our weaknesses and with the other edge we can dig up the opportunities for improvement. So, first change and prepare yourself for improvement and second, dig up opportunities for improvement. For these two, the people of the community must be made aware of the circumstances and developments with these two-fold treatments. Having changed yourself, the next step is to convert the whole society including the other communities on the changed-right path, which eventually will make the following-communities to accept the leadership and supremacy of you. You will be convinced on this strategy if you take a moment and retrospect in how the so called advanced communities grabbed the highest social standing in the society. They were the teachers in the forefront to teach the other masses on their so called social (varna system), religious and political (communal) concepts. Whichever mass followed the teachings became the subordinate to and victim of the teachers. Since the teachers' concepts were accepted and followed, they became leaders and achieved highest social standing in the society. This is not to mean that you should repeat the same history and make others subordinates and slaves to you but you must become a teacher and teach the others so that fraternity, liberty and equality is prevailed upon the society. So, why not you try this path since you have tried all in the past and nothing worked for the sufferings you have been going through for several centuries. But for this you must change first. Once the people are treated with the moral weapon, they will automatically flourish in other areas like employment, business, social and politics. So, do not you think that this weapon is essential to change a community that has been rusted over years topside down? My dear loving people please spare a moment, think and act.

But who has to use this weapon? Other communities? Your father? Your mother? Your brother? Your employer? No, you should not leave this to others but YOU. You yourself should take the responsibility. You must do it. Each and everyone of you and your family and thus the whole community should use this weapon, no exception. You may be ready but where is the plank for you to use this weapon? Or is the environment conducive for you to use it?

To answer the first question, you cannot do it solely on your own but by becoming part of the movement that encapsulate the whole community. You all should move for your destiny through an integrated approach. There must be a visionary and creative movement for you to put up with yourself to determine your destiny. Such a movement is the Educated Chamber (EC). EC will protect you and take you to the shore. It is the way forward for achieving your destiny. It is determined to transform the community into a world-class community. It has the leadership, it has the infrastructure, it has the policy, it has the power and it has the plan. Entrusted ones will be saved and taken to the glorious future.

Having used the weapon properly there is no doubt that you will prosper in all respect including economy, education, social, politics, business and employment and finally, you will set a stage on your own for your highest social standing.

Let us join together and work shoulder to shoulder and achieve our mission:

Change ourselves! Change others! Take the lead!
