Empire State Building Built in 1931. The Empire State Building is 1454 feet tall amounting to 102 stories in height. From the observatory on the 86th floor of this majestic building you will find the best place to fully appreciate the incredible views of New York. Another attraction of the building is the 'New York Skyride'. This is a 20 minute simulated flight. It will make you feel as though you are soaring over the city. Admission prices range from $7 - $12. Entry is free for children under 5 years old and military personnel in full uniform.
