Day 7
Thursday March 31, 2022
I got up early today to get started. I've got a busy day planned downtown today. I have offers from Binion's and Four Queens for $400 free play, lunch and dinner plans with friends and lots of gambling.

I decided to start off with play at Four Queens. Smooth session to start the day. A couple of royals and a dealt quad (10's) kept things close to even.

For lunch I met up with Albert and Jim at Magnolia's Veranda at the Four Queens. I went with my usual bowl of gumbo and the raspberry salad. Great lunch and Jim covered the tab with some of his many comps available. Thanks for lunch Jim.

After lunch I went to pick up Wendy and Stephanie and brought them downtown.

We went over to the Fremont to check in. I just booked one night on the B-Connected website so we'd all have a place to take breaks today if needed. Checking in went well and I was given room 1434. This room has two queen beds, a night stand, dresser and flat screen TV. The bathroom is microscopic with a shower, toilet and vanity. It has a view of Downtown Grand. The rooms here were recently renovated. I think they did a pretty nice job on them considering the small space they had to start with.

I went back over to the Four Queens to finish up my play over there. The second half of the play was almost identical to the first half with another dealt quad (10's again) and a few more royals. I had all of the action in and I was up 2 bucks.

A quick stop at the players club to have the $50 bonus added and I ran the $450 free play through 9/6 jacks for halves. Thanks to a couple of quads and a bunch of flush 4's that filled in I turned it into over $600.

I switched my play over to Binion's and single line dollars. Fairly smooth session to start. I was more than halfway through the play before I started to bleed. A couple of quads got me back to even. Then as always it was time for the final 100 points or so. I was expecting the worst but bad things didn't happen. I actually got out of the play up a little bit.

I ran the $400 free play (no bonus, I got it last trip) through and turned it into $500.

I went up to the room for a short break and to meet up with Wendy and Stephanie before dinner.

Dinner tonight was at Andiamo at the D with Wendy, Stephanie, Albert and Jim. This is one of my favorite restaurants in town and I've never had a bad meal here. Tonight I chose my usual rib eye steak. We got a couple of sides among the table to share and finished up with a couple of desserts that we split. Between me, Jim and Albert we had over $500 to cover the tab but didn't even need my comps. Thanks for dinner fellas!

Wendy and Stephanie were going to hang around a bit longer and watch a show on the Fremont Street Experience. While they did that I got a little play in at the Fremont since I had the room there. I picked Super Times Pay for quarters. Quite a good session with a fair amount of multipliers. The plus was unlike most times when I play this game I whiff when I get a multiplier. This time I scored a bonus quad with a 3x and got a dealt straight with a 4x as the highlights of the session. With no set amount to play here because I don't really care about comps here, I took the money and ran with a $250 profit.

I wrapped up things down here on Fremont Street and we headed out. I dropped Wendy and Stephanie off at their hotel, and we said our good byes for the trip as I would be going home tomorrow. I had a great time with them and hope they can make more trips in the future.

I got back to the Cromwell and started getting my things together and packed up. I hit the casino for a while and ran my $600 free play from my airfare reimbursement through short pay video poker. Session from hell turning the $600 into just $400. The pay table was meaningless. I never hit a hand higher than trips.

Next up was some craps action. Not a good session and I was lucky to get out only down around $700. I saved myself with a halfway decent roll to get back some of the losses and then colored up.

I wandered around and played a few penny slots and won around $100 thanks to a few bonus rounds.

I finished up the night with TV and then to sleep.

Total win/loss for the day + $695
Total Comps for the day $1,730
