Day 5

I was up early today and got myself ready to head out. I had an appointment at the airport at TSA for my Pre-Check enrollment. This is something I should have done years ago but COVID threw a wrench into that plan.

I swung by and picked up Wendy and Stephanie and off to the airport we went. They waited outside in the car while I ran in. I got to the office and was in and out in ten minutes.

From the airport I took them out to see The Seven Magic Mountains, the colored rocks outside of town.

Next up it was off to Silverton. Me and Dee have offers for $100 free play, 3 nights and $50 in food. I booked one night for a place to take breaks and change. The plan was to have lunch, and then Wendy and Stephanie would go to the pool while I got my play in. Unfortunately it wasn't pool weather but they kept busy.

I checked in and was given room 4023. This room has two queen beds, a night stand, dresser, work desk and flat screen TV. The bathroom is small with a basic toilet, tub and vanity. There is a view of a wall and work area. Sure glad I wasn't staying here for real.

We went to Sundance Grill for lunch. The last few trips here the food and the service was hit and miss. Today the food as quite good but there were too many mistakes in the orders. I had the Prime Rib Dip and it was quite good. I will get it again in the future and hope it is as good.

I played my usual Spin Poker machines here. The session was tough. Even with a dealt quad I was still down $220 with only half my play in. I was pretty tired from the late nights and early mornings so I went up to the room to get a nap in. Two hours later I woke up.

I went back to the casino to finish up the play. This time I chose single line dollars. Right off the bat I hit a quad and that kept things going for the rest of the action. I had my play in and was up $200 for this round.

I switched to Dee's card and repeated the process. Things were tough. Couldn't seem to hit much of anything. Quads were coming but just not often enough. When I had this play in I was down $375.

I decided to run the free play through single line dollars. I turned the $200 free play into $200 cash in what was a pretty smooth ride.

We left the Silverton and I took Wendy and Stephanie to their hotel. Wendy whipped up some pasta in their kitchen which was pretty darn good. Not sure what value it should have on it for a comp though.

I had to make a quick stop at The Cromwell to check in. I wouldn't be staying here tonight but would be moving here tomorrow. I decided to check in today so when I leave Encore tomorrow I'll be able to get right into the room without having to wait until late afternoon to check in.

Checking in here is always pretty fast and I was quickly given room 511. I went up to the room to make sure it was in good condition and put the do not disturb sign on the door.

If you're keeping score, I'm currently booked into three different hotels right now.

I booked this room on their website and got 3 nights comped. This is a king room with nightstands, dresser, flat screen TV, couch, coffee table, arm chair, make up area and closet. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and vanity. There is a view of part of Flamingo.

I looked over the room and found it to be fine, put the do not disturb sign on the door and headed out back to Encore.

I came back to Encore and hit the craps tables. Really really good table. I could have made a small fortune if I had pressed up my bets sooner. By the time I did it was too late and I had lost most of what I was up. I still managed to get out with a small win close to $300.

I still had my $500 free play and decided to run it through penny games. It started off good but then went to hell. Still managed to get $302 cash out of it.

I came up to the room and got things ready for the move to Cromwell tomorrow.
