Day 6

I was up early and started the day off picking up Wendy and Stephanie. We headed out to Hoover Dam so Stephanie could see it.

When we left the dam we were supposed to be headed to Green Valley Ranch where we had plans to meet with Jimbo and Katy for lunch. Unfortunately they had to head home yesterday for a family emergency so that was canceled. In it's place we went out to Red Rock Canyon. Prior to that we went to The Coffee Cup in Boulder City. This is a small diner type restaurant that was featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives a number of years ago. I got meatloaf that was really good.

From Boulder City we were off to Red Rock Canyon. We spent a few hours out there and did a little (very little) hiking and checking out the sites.

I brought Wendy and Stephanie to the Cromwell. From there we walked over to Bally's and then to Paris. I made dinner reservations at Gordon Ramsay Steak. Stephanie made a comment that she would like to try on of his places so I hooked her up.

I got my favorite steak, the rib cap. So damn good. So damn expensive at $95.95. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese to share between us.

When the bill came I used my diamond celebration dinner and reward credits to cover the difference for the $300 tab.

After dinner we walked back to the Cromwell and I brought Wendy and Stephanie back to their hotel and then came right back.

I hit the casino here and hit the craps tables. Session started out well with a good number of points being made. It leveled off and then got choppy. I was up the whole session and was up as much as 2k before things started going south. I decided after 90 minutes to give up and take a small profit instead of going into a hole and had $350 in profit. Not as good as the 2k I was up but a win is a win.

I came up to the room and wrapped up the night with a little TV and then sleep.
