Day 10

Gaming:
Today’s plan was to hit and run and play some coupons as well as hit the Coast properties to get my birthday bonus of 2500 points. I hit the South Coast which just opened this week. The place is really nice but if I threw you in the middle of the Orleans, Suncoast, or South Coast I’d dare you to tell me where you were and get it right. All the machines were brand new and the VP machines all have nice new flat panel screens. I started off with 8/5 bonus triple plays. Quads were coming at first and I even hit quad aces. Unfortunately the machine clammed up and I dropped $200 here.

Next up I took a shot at blackjack. This started out ok then the dealer caught on fire. My downfall started when a new player came to the table. I was playing 2 hands at $10 each and once he sat down I lost EVERY hand. Dropped another $200 here.

One last ditch effort was at of all games roulette. I don’t play this game much but usually get a good result when I do. Today it didn’t happen. I lost $100 here and only hit 1 number the whole time.

Dining:
Lunch this afternoon was a quick stop at Jack in the Box for a few tacos and a Dr. Pepper. This was my first and only stop at Jack in the Box this whole trip.

For dinner I went over to Anne’s house and hung out with a few of her co-workers. She ordered pizza and Italian food from a local place. The pizza was pretty good but the rest of the food pretty much sucked.

Late night I met up with Rich and Dawn back at the Hard Rock. We went over to the coffee shop and I had the Chicken Satay appetizer. It’s pretty much grilled chicken on a stick with a peanut sauce. Pretty tasty and did the trick!
