Day 4

Flight:
Before heading out to pick up my friends for the flight I left the Rio and went over to the Gold Coast. The plan here was twofold. First was to get 1 point on my card to get my birthday bonus points. Next was to hit the liquor store to get some booze to take on this trip. I played a penny game, won $3, got my points and got my booze comped with points!

After picking up my friends and dropping off the rental at Dollar we jumped n the shuttle back to the airport.

Today’s flight was on Jet Blue from Las Vegas to Long Beach, CA. I found a fare of $39 out and $59 back on December 24th a few months ago so jumped on it. During a check of the fares last month I saw the return flight dropped to $39. I called Jet Blue and was cheerfully given a $20 credit on my next flight with them. I’m on flight 283 scheduled to depart at 1:55pm non stop and arriving at 3:00pm. The flight was smooth and I really like the TV’s they have.

Rental Car:
I had a coupon from a previous promo with Avis that was good for 2 free days. I reserved a full size at a price of $52, which would be free, once I showed them the coupon. I was upgraded to a Buick LeSabre with 15,000 miles on it. A quick look over the car and we were on our way to the hotel to start a new trip.
