The most satisfying era to re-enact is World War II. The reasons for this are; Vets and persons from this era are still alive to share their experiences and memories, many units involved in that war are still around, much original gear is still available and its has a definite Canadian connection. I was a member of the 1 Cdn Para's in Halifax and also portray a RCCS signalman of World War II. This era is growing in popularity and size. There are many events, such as Remembrance Day Nov 11, and museums. Discover your connection to time period. |
