You can train with the Volunteers in Cape Breton for Louisbourg , I was part of the Chambley group out of Quebec. They are the closest French speaking group that re-enact French Marines from the seven years era. They also participate in other events such as Fort Ticonderoga in N.Y. state. An excellent brunch to be with , they know their drill and welcome all who wish to be French Marines.
