If you like black powder, wool, canvass tents and camping this is the group for you. They have been around a while and have members in N.S. and N.B.. This group has attending some very big events in the U.S. with the other companies from across the U.S.. I Coy is in the Maritimes and B Coy in Maine. This group does parades, small scale battles, black powder shoots and community events. They portray the Maritime connection to the Civil War and those who had a part in it. There is also the 4th Texas, CSA, that does the other side of the Civil War. I have also re-enacted with the 49th New York in Ontario, at the Rochton re-enactment.
