Bart attends a comic book convention and finds the first issue of "Radioactive Man" at the Android's Dungeon sale table for $100. He doesn't have enough money to pay for it, so he gets a job. He does odd jobs for Mrs. Glick, an elderly acquaintance of Marge's, but is given a paltry 50 cents for all his hard work. With only $35, Bart goes to the Android's Dungeon to try to buy the comic book. At the comic book shop, Bart runs into Milhouse and Martin. He talks them into pooling their money to buy the comic book. None of the three ar willing to let the comic book out of his sight, so they spend the night together at Bart's treehouse. When Martin stirs in the middle of the night, Bart thinks he is trying to steal the comic book and ties him up. A storm move sin. Milhouse tries to alert Marge that Bart has gone crazy, but Bart thinks he is making a move for the comic and tackles him. Milhouse rolls over the side of the treehouse, and Bart holds him precariously by the sleeve. When a gust of wind carries the comic book towards the door, Bart must decide whether to hold onto Milhouse or save the comic book. He saves Milhouse. The comic book is blown out of the treehouse and zapped by lightning. Bar realizes that he and his friends wound up with nothing because they could not share. |
