Making a Donation
Donations
Loans Withdraws
Theres two basic scenarios to
donating, but they all start exactly the same way: By Contacting Sacrificess. Email or in
guild-chat. Either way will work. And when you contact her, let her know what
it is youd like to donate. For our part, we just need to make sure we can
actually accept the item (if its Lore and we already have one, well... you
get the idea). But lets assume in this case that we have no Shiny Brass Shield
on hand. You arrange to meet, and you hand in the item(s) to be donated. In
this case, a Shiny Brass Shield. And thats it. You run off to do more good
deeds in Norrath and we have a new shield up for grabs in the guild vault.
The second option is to make a donation in exchange for an item you want from
the guild bank. This scenario works much like a straight trade. In these instances,
we will be working on a value-for-value basis. What does one item price at
compared to another? Well, that will be one of our many jobs, but we will
do our very best to make accurate trades and well give the donor the benefit
of the doubt if there is any question. Not only that, but if at a later time
we find that we have grossly miscalculated your trade, we will contact you
to make sure you are compensated more fairly. And there are a TON of different
options other than this, but for your sake as well as ours, well offer those
on a need-to basis. For now though, just know that we can and will work with
you when it comes to making donations and trading for items, and theres a
lot of ways in which we can do it. One thing that is VERY important to mention
though is this: All donations will be considered guild property once we receive
them. Basically what that means is, dont give us a bunch of things with the
idea that were just here to hold them for you. Thats what YOUR bank slots
are for. If you plan on using an item at a later date at all, DO NOT donate
them to the guild. Because its very possible they wont be available later
when you come back for them. Either another guild member will be using it
or it will have been sold already in auction. So please just be aware of that.
We certainly dont wish to discourage you from making donations, but we cant
be the guild mules either. Nothing in the vault is intended to stay in there
forever, and we will not be inclined to keep things on hold for persons who
are not planning on making immediate use of the item in question.
