Loans Withdraws
Making a donation to the bank is only the
first part. The second part is attempting to distribute those donations to
people who can and will make good use of the items in question. Thats where
withdraws come in. Wed like to take a minute to express in more detail withdraws
and their usage. First and foremost, there is a limit to just
how much can be withdrawn at any one time by a guild member. You may ask for
and receive up to three items from the vault at no cost or incident. After
that, if you are still interested in yet more items, you will be required
to trade back one of your previous withdraws as a means of exchanging for
the new item. In other cases, you may actually purchase items from the bank
vault if you are so inclined. Additionally, if you would like to make donations
as a means to pay for acquiring another item, you are more than welcome to
do so. Items you receive from the guild vault are documented as being in your
inventory. When you take an item from the guild vault, you are stating this
item can and will be used by you. If you later acquire a new item that is
an improvement to the one you received from the guild, we ask that you please
return the old item so that a different guild member might be able to benefit
from it just as you did. At no time is the item to be sold in auction to any
person at any time in any zone unless given permission from the bank to do
so. Even at that, permission from the bank is only given after the matter
has been addressed by the Officers themselves and deemed acceptable by the
counsel. The process of obtaining an item is the same as in making a donation.
Use the /guildsay chat line to get in contact with a banker and a date/time
for pick up will be worked out. If you are interested in looking at more than
one item within the guild vault, please make known all the items you wish
to see so that the traveling banker (the only one capable of porting to other
locations) can have them all available to view. Or, to make things even easier,
plan to meet in Freeport where all the bank operators are stationed. With
this scenario, you will be at liberty to browse any and all items within the
vault, including items that may not have made the listing yet. Lastly, a note
on spells. Obviously spells are the type of items that cannot ever be given
back once put into use. The only recourse would be to eventually repay the
guild with the same spell should you ever acquire it at a later date. Because
of the way spells work, we do not include them within the three item limit.
However, all other specifics about receiving items still apply. If you are
not in a position to make use of a spell in a timely manner, we will not be
able to hand the scroll over to you. Simply put, you need to be within a level
of using it before we can consider offering you the scroll.
