Mr. M. Motsoenyane started helping the street children after realizing the growth in poverty level in Welkom, Goldfields and Free State as a whole.  He started this in February 2002 and was utilizing his own money to feed these kids.  He began soliciting the donation from his colleagues to help these street kids.  This continued until he decided to form Reach-out Development Programme in November 2002.

• Managed to provide food to these street kids on a weekly basis
• Provided clothing during 2002 winter period
• Managed to provide blankets in the year 2002's winter period
