Poverty level in Free State is increasing as mines are retrenching people and youth have problems finding jobs. This increase in unemployment is one of the factors that lead children and youth to scatter around the city looking for food and shelter in dustbins and rubbish dumps.
It is therefore the purpose of this organization to give these kids a second chance. Mostly, when economic development and poverty alleviation are addressed, street children are hardly mentioned or taken into consideration. The funding required by this organization will serve as a means to train and educate these kids in programmes that encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment. Since these kids are used to finding food for themselves and other fellow street kids, teaching them better ways of self-development and self-employment wont be problematic.
Our education system has taught our youth to study and expect to find jobs after completing whatever qualification they were engaged in. If these kids are given the relevant means of survival and development, poverty levels will decrease and drug abuse and crime will also decrease.
We are currently engaged in the following programmes:
- Collecting old clothes from the community
- Collect old blankets from members of our community
- Involved in a Collect-a-Coin campaign (Fund-raising)
- Involved in Collect-food-parcels campaign
- Involved in Collect-old-books campaign (Education)
We currently in need of donation of food parcels, clothes, blankets, books, etc.
Anyone whom God has provided with the means, please send all your donations to:

A drop in an ocean increases its volume, and without it, it will be less. Giving is a gift one receives from God. No matter how small it is, it makes a difference to the receiver.

Only on the principle of giving can the inequalities of the human race be adjusted, can the strong help the weak, and social peace reign among men. There is more happiness in rejoicing in the happiness of other, than in rejoicing in our own good. the receiver rejoices in his good; the giver in the joy of others and to such comes the peace nothing in the world can give.
