Aidan O'Ryan

Red Collar Worker

Aidan submerged himself into his work so he could ignore the corruption and oppression with the Kindred world. He made himself a formidable presence, and there was a time when when even a Prince or two worried when they got reports of an abusive Archon donning an Irish accent wandering through their territory on "business". After fourty years of work he reached a peak of respect within his Clan, but, in the great tradition of the Brujah, he fell from grace. And, the landing was less than kind.

In the mid-nineties Aidan and a group of Camarilla shock-troops were sent on the trail of a renegade (possibly Sabbat, no one ever found out) Malkavian who had the gall to kill a Prince and set up a mock court. The Camailla were fairly displeased and sent Aidan to "remedy" the situation with his best asset, his fists. However, the Malk turned out to be less than a push-over, and a bloody battle ensued between Aidan's troop and the Malk's "court". Aidan tried to take the Malkavian head-to-head but was quickly thwarted when the Malkavian used his powers of Derangement to stunning success on the Brujah, leaving his mind a wasteland of insanity. The Brujah's resulting, short-lived, frenzy along with the help of his troop ended the Malkavian's false reign, but Aidan was left in a crumpled heap of madness.

The immediate effects of the Malkavian's "prank" faded after several months of isolation, but Aidan's mind never fully recovered. The madness not only left him with an unconrtolable fear of Malkavians (one that nearly always leads to a frenzy), but it left him slightly paranoid about Kindred in general. Oddly enough the paranoia began resurrect his revolutionary tendencies, and Aidan began to secretly search for a way to escape the Camarilla.
