His Life & Embrace
It was August, 1755, in a misty
afternoon in Ireland that Aidan O'Ryan was born to
his humble beginnings. While still an infant, the
Aidan's family and some other members of the O'Ryan
clan took passage on a ship to America to search for
a new life. Aidan grew up in a common, fairly poor,
Irish community in New England. He grew up and
married a young Irish girl Mrs. Drea O'Ryan.
But. as the colonies slowly heated
to a political boil, so did Aidan's passion for
revolution. Like so many young men in New England,
Aidan sought to become a voice to the public. But due
to his lack of money and (not that Aidan would ever
admit it) intelligence, he had no way of becoming a
real influence. Much to his wife's dissapointment he
joined the ranks of the soon-to-be-country's army.
Late one night his local militia took it upon
themselves to capture the English troops quartered
within the town. The raid was unsuccessful, and the
militia was annihilliated. Left broken and bleeding,
Aidan watched as the angry Redcoats turned the tables
and raided the community. As he neared his end a man
approached his rather non-chalantly, introducing
himself to the dying man as 'Nikolas'. He explained
that he too had a distate for the King's oppression,
and he offered Aidan a possible solution to his
obvious problem. Aidan didn't believe the offer, but
he was dying anyway, so on that night he was embraced
into the Eigth generation.
The confused neonate ran from his sire as the pain
of the embrace took over. He stumbled back into the
town square just in time to see the last few citizens
of his small town lined up and shot down. Among the
fallen was his wife. Aidan had his first meal of
Britain blood under the flood of a Brujah frenzy.
More confused than ever Aidan submitted himself to
his Sire and begged for help. Augustos taught Aidan
the ways of the Brujah, Augustos himself knew much of
the Clan's history and instilled in Aidan a sense and
drive for for freedom for Kindred and Kine alike in
the memory Carthage.
