Lawrence County outscored Russell 20-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 39-28 victory. Lawrence County recorded 21 first down and 442 yards of total offense. They were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted. Russell recorded 21 first times and 356 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 20 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.
Alex Strickland led Lawrence County’s ground game with 143 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Dylan Ferguson carried the ball 16 times for 111 yards and three touchdowns. Blue Fletcher added 51 yards on eight carries. Alex Strickland completed three of five passes for 107 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Kaden Gillispie caught two passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. Blue Fletcher added one reception for 24 yards. Nick Collinsworth returned two kickoffs for 35 yards. Dylan Ferguson led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles. Caden Ball added two solo and three assisted tackles. Luis Chicko recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Talan Pollock added three solo tackles and intercepted two passes. Alex Strickland recorded three solo tackles and scored on a 52 yard interception return.
Andre Richardson-Crews led Russell’s ground game with 112 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Bradley Rose completed 14 of 27 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Doug Osborne caught three passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. Mason Lykins added three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown. Carson Patrick recorded three receptions for 33 yards. DMarques Kershner added three receptions for 31 yards. Doug Osborne returned three kickoffs for 52 yards. DMarques Kershner added one kickoff return for 35 yards. Eligh Abdon scored on a two yard interception return.
