ADJUSTED STATISTICS – Madison Central dominated play tonight as they held South Laurel to 42 yards of total offense and forced six turnovers in a 69-6 victory.  Madison Central recorded 14 first downs and 398 yards of total offense.  They carried the ball 24 times for 278 yards averaging 11.6 yards per carry and scored eight touchdowns on the ground.  The Indians were penalized a staggering 20 times for 202 yards.  South Laurel recorded eight first downs and 42 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 31 yards, lost four fumbles, and had twopasses intercepted.

Brad Hensley led Madison Central’s ground game with 83 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Hagan Harrison carried the ball four times for 75 yards.  Blake Snyder recorded 56 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Kenyatta Hardge carried the ball five times for 41 yards and three touchdowns.  Jackson Rohrer chipped in with 21 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Brock Eads carried the ball once for a seven yard touchdown run.  Elijah Steele completed seven of 12 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Hagan Harrison completed three of five passes for 48 yards.  Jayden West caught eight passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.  Jeffrey Kinley returned one kickoff for 38 yards.  Brock Eads led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards and intercepted a pass he returned 22 yards.  Gerius Walker added three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.  Jeffrey Kinley recorded two solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble he returned 21 yards for a touchdown.  Edgren Sweat chipped in with two solo and two assisted tackles with one of his losses resulting in an eight yard loss.  Peyton Dandaneau, Jake Muntz, and Cooper Mullins also recovered a fumble each and Muntz added an interception he returned 11 yards.  Muntz returned his fumble recovery for 12 yards. 

Ashton Garland led South Laurel’s ground game with four yards on one carry.  Landry Collett scored on a one yard line.  Landry Collett completed nine of 25 passes for 69 yards with two interceptions.  Caden Jones caught four passes for 30 yards.  Ashton Garland returned five kickoffs for 92 yards with a long return of 27 yards.  Hunter Bundy returned five kickoffs for 70 yards with a long return of 21 yards.  Jackson Hammack led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles.  Ashton Garland added four solo and one assisted tackles.

Union County utilized their big play capabilities to overcome Murray’s very efficient ground-and-pound offense to earn a 53-28 victory.  Union County recorded 16 first downs and 379 yards of total offense.  The Braves were penalized six times for 60 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Murray recorded 24 first downs and 512 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized eight times for 85 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Corithian Seales-Portee led Union County’s ground game with 88 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Jarren Johnson carried the ball five times for 54 yards.  Kristopher Hughes carried the ball three times for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Cannon Sheffer completed eight of 10 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns.  Kristopher Hughes caught six passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns.  Izaiah Manuel caught one pass for 42 yards.  Kristopher Hughes returned three kickoffs for 173 yards and two touchdowns.  Cannon Sheffer led the defense with five solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Isaac Phillips added one solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Iverson King recorded one solo and 10 assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Caden Polites chipped in with two solo and seven assisted tackles.  Corithian Seales-Portee added one solo and six assisted tackles and scored on a 41 yard interception return.

Cameron Hergott ran for four touchdowns and passed for 274 yards to lead Beechwood to a 49-21 victory over Simon Kenton.  Beechwood recorded 24 first downs and 578 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized seven times for 75 yards.  Simon Kenton recorded 18 first downs and 257 yards of total offense.  The Pioneers were penalized three times for 30 yards and lost a fumble.

Cameron Hergott led Beechwood’s ground game with 152 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries.  Avery Courtney carried the ball 11 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns.  Mitchell Berger added 17 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Cameron Hergott completed 13 of 14 passes for 274 yards.  Parker Mason caught five passes for 86 yards.  Mitchell Berger added three receptions for 84 yards.  Liam McCormack caught one pass for 43 yards.  Parker Mason returned three kickoffs for 87 yards.  Xavier Campbell, Tanner Jackson, and Bomani Hughes led the defense as they recorded three, two, and one sacks respectively.

Wen Rice led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 49 yards on nine carries.  Chase Crone carried the ball 22 times for 24 yards and three touchdowns.  Chase Crone completed 12 of 17 passes for 163 yards.  Luke Morrison caught two passes for 35 yards.  Jackson Galbraith added one reception for 34 yards.  Jayden Lawson recorded two receptions for 33 yards.  Gavin Riley caught three passes for 32 yards.  Chase Williams returned four kickoffs for 67 yards.  Josh Bowling led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles.  Chase Gill added six solo and two assisted tackles.  Joe Vormbrock recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses.

Covington Catholic’s defense controlled the game in a 24-8 victory over Dixie Heights.  Covington Catholic recorded 10 first downs and 237 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized once for five yards.  Dixie Heights recorded nine first downs and 148 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized three times for 16 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Lexington Christian Academy outscored Christian Academy of Louisville 21-0 in the third quarter to pull away for a 37-14 victory.  LCA recorded 14 first down and 308 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized four times for 35 yards and lost two fumbles.  CAL recorded 16 first times and 252 yards of total offense.  The Centurions were penalized seven times for 65 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Mason Moore led LCA’s ground game with 128 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Xavier Brown carried the ball 12 times for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Jeremiah Riffle recorded 17 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Mason Moore completed five of six passes for 70 yards and one touchdown.  Parker Chaney caught two passes for 29 yards.  Xavier Brown added one reception for 27 yards.  Jeffrey Selby caught a six yard touchdown pass.  Xavier Brown and Mason Moore each returned a punt for 45 and 35 yards respectively.  Saxton Howard returned one kickoff for 17 yards.  Jeffrey Selby led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Parker Chaney added four solo and one assisted tackles and also intercepted a pass.  Will Nichols and Elijah Hammond also each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.

Madison Central dominated play tonight in a 69-6 victory over South Laurel.  Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 408 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized 20 times for 213 yards.  South Laurel recorded 10 first downs and 10 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 28 yards. Lost four fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Hagan Harrison led Madison Central’s ground game with 73 yards on four carries.  Brady Hensley carried the ball six times for 61 yards and two touchdowns.  Blake Snyder recorded 59 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Kenyatta Hardge carried the ball five times for 42 yards and three touchdowns.  Jackson Rohrer added 21 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Eli Steele completed seven of 13 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Hagan Harrison completed two of three passes for 45 yards.  Jayden West caught seven passes for 121 yards and one touchdown.  Jeffrey Kinley returned one kickoff for 37 yards.  Brock Eads led the defense with six solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Jackson Rohrer added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Jeffrey Kinley and Peyton Dandaneau recovered fumbles and Cooper Mullins intercepted two passes with total return yardage of 29 yards.

Bullitt East missed a field goal of over 30 yards in the closing seconds and Graves County held on for a 48-46 victory in a big road win.  Graves County recorded 20 first downs and 433 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 20 yards and lost a fumble.  Bullitt East recorded 28 first downs and 480 yards of total offense.  The Chargers were penalized three times for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted.

Clint McKee led Graves County’s ground game with 139 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries.  Drake Defreitas completed 21 of 26 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns.  Markus Isiah caught 11 passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns.  Cade Goatley added three receptions for 39 yards.  Caleb Cornwell recorded one reception for 30 yards.  Mason Grant added five receptions for 27 yards.  Dalton Blythe scored on a 47 yard interception return and Clint McKee recovered a fumble.

Mason Gauthier led Bullitt East’s ground game with 171 yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries.  Camron Brogan carried the ball three times for 71 yards and a touchdown. Travis Egan added 51 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.  Travis Egan completed 20 of 26 passes for 187 yards with one interception.  Camron Brogan caught nine passes for 88 yards.  Nolan Davenport added four receptions for 46 yards.  Austin Wilson recorded three catches for 30 yards.  Travis Egan punted twice for a 46.5 average with both punts inside the 20 yard line.  Patrick Ballard led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackle.  Evan Sexton added 11 assisted tackles.  Braxton Joslin recorded five solo and one assistede tackle.  Patrick Ballard returned two kickoffs for 27 yards.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 160 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Jack Gohmann carried the ball eight times for 72 yards and two touchdowns.  Jack Gohmann completed 13 of 20 passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns.  Blake Busson caught five passes for 45 yards.  Jack Monday added three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.  Tanner Pedroch recorded three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Corbin Perry caught an eight yard touchdown pass.  Jack Monday led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles.  Chris Kern added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Blake Foster recorded two solo and six assisted tackles.  San Clements added three solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted two passes with a total of 33 return yards.

Ty Bryant led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 32 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  TJ Horton carried the ball three times for 22 yards and two touchdowns.  DaVaun Hart carried the ball four times for 14 yards and a touchdown.  Samuel Cornett completed 10 of 11 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns.  Cameron Dunn caught two passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.  Jakari Cowherd added two receptions for 62 yards.  Thomas Howard recorded two receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Tylon Webb caught two passes for 19 yards and a touchdown.  Jeremiah Lowe led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.  He also intercepted a pass he returned 57 yards for a touchdown.  Japhia Kennedy added three solo and three assisted tackles.  Ahmar Clark recorded four solo tackles.  Corey Gamble recovered a fumble and Isaiah Kennedy intercepted a pass he returned 11 yards.

Cole Colony led Dunbar’s ground game with 37 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Cole Colony completed 14 of 22 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Shyhiem Drew caught three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Andrew Jones added three receptions for 43 yards. Erik White returned five kickoffs for 113 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Delane Smith returned one kickoff for 22 yards.  J. Biggerstaff led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Mason Hayslett added four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Ryan Browning recovered a fumble.
