Frederick Douglass continues to dominate as they defeated Paintsville by a score of 57-7. Frederick Douglass recorded 17 first downs and 417 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized eight times for 71 yards. Paintsville recorded nine first downs and 107 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized four times for 30 yards and lost a fumble.
Jaylin Bybee led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 58 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Cameron Jones carried the ball five times for 24 yards and a touchdown. D. Fishback added 23 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Cameron Jones completed 14 of 18 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns. Brion Thomas completed his only pass for a 12 yard touchdown pass. D. Fishback caught six passes for 84 yards and three touchdowns. Dekel Crowdus added four receptions for 76 yards. Micah Lowe caught two passes for 86 yards. Haiden Hunt returned one punt for 23 yards. David Arnold led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles. J. Coffman added two solo and three assisted tackles. Tre’Jwan Scott recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.
Jake Hyden led the Paintsville ground game with 38 yards on six carries. Jake Hyden completed four of seven passes for 33 yards. Devin Hall completed his only pass for an eight yard touchdown pass. Karsten Poe caught two passes for 17 yards. Chris Allen caught one pass for 13 yards and Colby Fugate caught an eight yard touchdown pass. James Allen returned one kickoff for 54 yards. John Phelps led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 15 yard loss. James Allen added three solo tackles.
