Little Rock Central (AR) coach Brian Ross started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Annor Boateng, 6-1 Jr. Luke Moore, 6-8 Sr. CJ Washington, 6-0 Sr. Daniel Culberson, and 6-0 Sr. Chase Allen. Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-7 Sr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 Jr. Vince Dawson III, 7-1 Jr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 Jr. Gage Richardson.
Great Crossing trailed 15-8 after the first quarter but rallied to defeat Little Rock Central by the score of 54-47 to capture the title. Great Crossing shot 57.9% from the field including five of nine from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Little Rock Central turnovers. Little Rock Central shot 36.4% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Great Crossing turnovers.
Junius Burrell led Great Crossing with 17 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Burrell was six of eight from the field including three of three from beyond the arc and two of four free throws. Vince Dawson III added 12 points and four assists. Malachi Moreno recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, three steals, and was named KOB MVP. Jeremiah Godfrey chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two steals.
Daniel Culberson led Little Rock Central with 15 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Luke Moore added 11 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Annor Boateng recorded 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals. And was named KOB Most Outstanding Player. CJ Washington chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
