Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader. Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings countered with 5-10 Jr. Anna Rodgers, 5-8 Sr. Lilly Reid, 5-10 So. Madelyn Curtsinger, 5-8 Fr. Anna Tinelli, and 5-6 So. Carli Bryant.
Bullitt East defeated Madison Central 71-70 in overtime. Madison Central trailed by 19 points with 3:21 left in the second quarter and 50-40 after three quarters but Nataya Strader hit three free throws with four seconds remaining on the clock to force overtime. Bullitt East outscored Madison Central 10-9 in overtime to earn the victory. Bullitt East shot 42.9% from the field including five of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Chargers connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 40.3% from the field including three of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Bullitt East turnovers.
Lilly Reid led Bullitt East with 24 points including two three point baskets, six of eight free throws, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Anna Rodgers added 20 points including five of six free throws, and seven rebounds. Madelyn Curtsinger recorded 13 points and four rebounds. 5-5 Fr. Mollie Johnston chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, four of six free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Anna Tinelli recorded two points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 23 points including nine of 12 free throws, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Bailey Hensley added 19 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Brittany Campbell recorded 12 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Brooke Campbell added 10 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists. Eden Carter chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Madison Central (70) – Eden Carter 6, Bro. Campbell 10, Hensley 19, Bri. Campbell 12, Strader 23.
Bullitt East (71) – Rodgers 20, Reid 24, Curtsinger 13, Tinelli 2, Bryant 0, Johnston 12.
