West Carter advanced with a 27-19 victory over Martin County.  West Carter recorded 17 first downs and 358 yards of total offense.  The Comets were penalized seven times for 60 yards.  Martin County recorded 13 first downs and 332 yards of total offense (all on the ground).  The Cardinals were penalized three times for 29 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Cole Crampton led the West Carter ground game with 185 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries.  Eli Estepp completed seven of 18 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns.  Jackson Bond caught five passes for 115 yards and one touchdown.  Sam Jones caught a 28 yard touchdown pass.  Blake McClone led the defense with two solo and seven assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Neil Lusher added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Jake Barker also intercepted a pass.

Kolby Sparks led Martin County’s ground game with 178 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries.  Dawson Mills added 94 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Branson Smith carried the ball six times for 47 yards.  Jason Maynard was zero for three with two interceptions in the passing department.

Paducah Tilghman trailed 28-7 in the third quarter but rallied to defeat Union County 31-28 on a 27 yard field goal by Nolan Waller with four seconds remaining on the clock.  Paducah Tilghman recorded 22 first downs and 378 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 35 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.  Union County recorded 14 first downs and 280 yards of total offense.  They were penalized 12 times for 90 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Malachi Ridder led Paducah Tilghman’s ground game with 133 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.  Jack James completed 19 of 35 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions.  Camdon Marshall caught 10 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.  Brian Thomas added three receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.  Uriah Virzi led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles.  Brian Thomas added four solo tackles.  Camdon Marshall intercepted a pass.

Corithian Seales-Portee led Union County’s ground game with 74 yards on 19 carries.  Cannon Sheffer added 25 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Cannon Sheffer completed 11 of 24 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Kristopher Hughes caught eight passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns.  Kristopher Hughes returned one kickoff for 60 yards.  Kanye Pollard returned two kickoffs for 35 yards.  Kanye Pollard intercepted one pass while Kristopher Hughes had two picks.

Logan County survived a wild 39-37 victory over Hopkinsville to advance in the playoffs.  Logan County held a comfortable 33-17 lead after three quarters but Hopkinsville rallied to pull within 2; 39-37 with 13 seconds remaining on a one yard run by Tre Jefferson.  Jefferson attempted to run it for the two point conversion but was ruled short despite protests from the Hopkinsville sideline.  Hopkinsville recovered an onside kick with 8 seconds on the clock but a last second pass was broken up and Logan County escaped with the victory.  Logan County recorded 16 first downs and 412 yards of total offense.  They were penalized 12 times for 125 yards.  Hopkinsville recorded 19 first downs and 326 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized 11 times for 95 yards.

Wyatt Blake led Logan County’s ground game with 156 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.  Ryan Rayno carried the ball 21 times for 138 yards and a touchdown.  Davin Yates recorded 68 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Davin Yates completed six of nine passes for 47 yards and one touchdown.  Elijah Hawkins caught one pass for 34 yards.  Wyatt Blake added one reception for 22 yards.  Harper Butler recorded two receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown.  Wyatt Blake returned three kickoffs for 44 yards.  Ryan Rayno returned one kickoff for 16 yards.  Davin Yates led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  Clifton Faughn added three solo and two assisted tackles.

Jayden Dillard led Hopkinsville’s ground game with 67 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Tre Jefferson carried the ball 10 times for 59 yards and one touchdown.  Tre Jefferson completed 11 of 21 passes for 208 yards and one touchdown.  Emmanuel Cheatham caught three passes for 82 yards.  Daisjaun Mercer added three receptions for 79 yards and one touchdown.  Jayden Dillard caught three passes for 26 yards.  Daisjaun Mercer returned one punt for 39 yards.  Jayden Dillard returned three kickoffs for 69 yards and Daisjaun Mercer returned one kickoff for 21 yards.  Daisjaun Mercer led the defense withb10 solo tackles.  Jaiden Metcalf added seven solo and two assisted tackles.  David Boswell recorded three solo and six assisted tackles.

Covington Catholic defeated Conner by the score of 35-14.  Covington Catholic recorded 18 first downs and 414 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized four times for 25 yards.  Conner recorded eight first downs and 208 yards of total offense.  The Cougars were penalized once for 15 yards.

Reid Hummel led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 131 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.  Preston Agee carried the ball 20 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns.  Preston Agee completed six of 11 passes for 117 yards.  Adam Holtz caught three passes for 65 yards.  David Sullivan added two receptions for 39 yards.  Brayden Collins led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Colin Gastright added four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Zion Mason recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.

Alex Castrucci led Conner’s ground game with 52 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Alex Castrucci completed seven of nine passes for 150 yards and one touchdown.  Alijah Thompson caught four passes for 115 yards and one touchdown.  Cody Crawford added two receptions for 33 yards.  Clayton Melcher returned four kickoffs for 83 yards with a long return of 32 yards.  Ben Fay led the defense with seven solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Mason Delph added six solo tackles.  Carter Lindemann recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.

Boyle County dominated tonight in a 47-13 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Boyle County raced out to a 41-0 halftime lead and was never threatened.  They recorded 16 first downs and 402 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized three times for 29 yards and lost two fumbles.  Lexington Catholic recorded seven first downs and 103 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized twice for 14 yards.

Avery Bodner led Boyle County’s ground game with 156 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries.  Jagger Gillis carried the ball eight times for 69 yards and three touchdowns.  Cole Lanter recorded 43 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Dalton Stone chipped in with 25 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Jagger Gillis completed six of eight passes for 144 yards and one touchdown.  Cole Lanter caught four passes for 52 yards.  Trey Lanter added a 79 yard touchdown reception.  Daulton Peetz led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Cole Sims added four solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 21 yards.  Jayce Crowe recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 56 yards on 13 carries.  Blake Busson carried the ball six times for 40 yards and two touchdowns.  Jack Gohmann completed two of 12 passes for 15 yards.  Jack Monday caught one pass for 18 yards.  San Clements returned two kickoffs for 23 yards with a long return of 19 yards.  Gavin Klein led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Cannon Mackley led one solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  S. Bennington recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Patrick Davis chipped in with two solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Frederick Douglass raced out to a 28-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 48-7 victory over Scott County.  Frederick Douglass recorded 12 first downs and 299 yards of total offense.  The Broncos were penalized seven times for 96 yards.  Scott County recorded 14 first downs and 214 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Madison Central utilized their ground-and-pound offense mixed with a couple of long aerial strikes and a relentless pass rush led by Edgren Sweat and Kyran Jackson to avenge an earlier loss to defeat Bryan Station by the score of 41-18.  Madison Central recorded 17 first downs and 376 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized 11 times for 123 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 264 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized 12 times for 115 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Brady Hensley led Madison Central’s ground game with 166 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.  Hagan Harrison carried the ball six times for 110 yards and two touchdowns.  Hagan Harrison completed two of six passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Bradley Hensley and Jayden West caught touchdown receptions of 40 and 36 yards respectively.  Jayden West returned two kickoffs for 80 yards including a long return of 63 yards which occurred on opening kickoff and set the tone for the game.  Ayden Pierson led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Jeffrey Kinley added four solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Kyran Jackson recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Edgren Sweat added one solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 10 yard loss.  Logan Pierson, Hayden Kiser, Brock Eads, and Caden Ellington all had tackles resulting in loss of yardage and Eads intercepted a pass.

Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd led Bryan Station’s ground game with 24 yards on nine carries.  Trenton Cutwright added a rushing touchdown.  Trenton Cutwright completed 17 of 27 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  J’Marious Lindsay caught six passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.  Javoen Hurt added four receptions for 99 yards.  Tylin Israel added two receptions for 35 yards.  Amodeus Taylor returned two kickoffs for 31 yards with a long return of 25 yards.  Javoen Hurt returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 20 yards.  Jason Hocker led the defense with three solo and eight assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Yedideyah Sledge and Antonio Davis each recorded one solo and six assisted tackles.  Jahvon Frazier added two solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Amarjae Mitchell intercepted two passes.

Kamarion Robinson scored on a 1 yard run and Ryan O’Hara kicked the extra point with 36 seconds left on the clock and Kaylib Nelson intercepted a Tates Creek pass in the closing seconds to give Paul Laurence Dunbar a 41-34 victory.  Tates Creek led 26-14 in the third quarter and held a 34-27 lead with 5:29 left in the game but Dunbar rallied for the victory.  Dunbar recorded 26 first downs and 486 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized six times for 40 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 344 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 11 times for 85 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Kamarion Robinson led Dunbar’s ground game with 188 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries.  Justin Bayubahe carried the ball seven times for 90 yards and a touchdown.  Noah Chapman added 63 yards on seven carries.  Cole Colony chipped in with 59 yards on 19 carries.  Cole Colony completed five of 12 passes for 60 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Erik White caught three passes for 16 yards and J. Kazadi added a 39 yard touchdown reception.  Noah Chapman returned two kickoffs for 58 yards with a long return of 46 yards.  Kaylib Nelson returned three kickoffs for 34 yards with a long return of 18 yards.  J. Kazadi led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  John Law added four solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Justin Bayubahe recorded two solo and five assisted tackles.  Sam Turley recovered a fumble and Kaylib Nelson intercepted a pass.

Aliyon Blevins led Tates Creek’s ground game with 110 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Andrew Witherington completed 15 of 23 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Marquevion Smith caught six passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns.  Ke’shon Douthitt added three receptions for 30 yards.  Theo Jones recorded two receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Ke’shon Douthitt returned one punt for 33 yards and Kobe Middleton returned three kickoffs for 83 yards with a long return of 46 yards.  Logan Julian led the defense with 13 solo and three assisted tackles.  Thomas Seigler added eight solo and four assisted tackles.  Devin Dansby recorded seven solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an 11 yard loss.  Anthony Ravizee chipped in with four solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards and recovered a fumble.  Theo Jones added one solo and five assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Washington County by the score of 68-7.  LCA recorded 14 first downs and 389 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized once for 10 yards.  Washington County recorded five first downs and 16 yards of total offense.  They had two passes intercepted.

Xavier Brown led LCA’s ground game with 121 yards and two touchdowns on three carries.  Saxton Howard carried the ball three times for 75 yards and one touchdown.  Drew Nieves carried the ball once for 41 yards and a touchdown.  Evan Thompson also ran for a touchdown.  Drew Nieves completed seven of eight passes for 118 yards and three touchdowns.  Mason Moore caught three passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.  Jeffrey Selby added two receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown.  Parker Chaney caught one pass for 25 yards and a touchdown.  Jeffrey Selby led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Major Brown added two solo and three assisted tackles.  Elijah Hammond recorded one solo and three assisted tackles.  Will Orberson and Evan Brown each returned intercepted passes for a touchdown.

John McDonald led Washington County’s ground game with six yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Noah Reynolds completed four of eight passes for 29 yards with two interceptions.  Brandon Coulter and Jack Pettus each caught one pass for 11 yards.  Lucas Carrico led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Waylon Young added three solo tackles.  Jack Pettus returned two kickoffs for 78 yards.
