Eastern Kentucky University led 3-0 until late in the second quarter but Murray State rallied for a decisive 34-6 victory.  Murray State recorded 14 first downs and 329 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized five times for 50 yards and lost a fumble.  Eastern Kentucky University recorded 20 first downs and 385 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Rodney Castille led Murray State’s ground game with 50 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Jared McCray carried the ball three times for 36 yards and a touchdown.  Drew Anderson completed 20 of 30 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns.  James Sappington caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.  DeQuan Dallas added two receptions for 47 yards.  Tyre Gray recorded two receptions for eight yards and a touchdown.  Quincy Williams led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 85 yards.  Marquez Sanford added six solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Jason Johnson recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.  Kenney Wooten added three solo and four assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 20 yards.  Kendrick Catis added three solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Quinaz Turner intercepted a pass.

LJ Scott led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 94 yards on 18 carries.  Daryl McCleskey carried the ball 15 times for 47 yards.  Jason Lewis recorded 42 yards on six carries.  Dakota Allen completed 13 of 22 passes for 98 yards with one interception.  Austin Scott completed 12 of 21 passes for 102 yards with one interception.  Alex Cabrera caught seven passes for 65 yards.  Jaelin Carter, Neiko Creamer, and Dan Paul each caught four passes for 35, 30, and 25 yards respectively.  Sam Hayworth kicked off three times for three touch backs.  Ben Bascom led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Steven Crowder added five solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Aaron Patrick recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  Jordan Whitfield recovered a fumble.

DeSales defeated Shawnee 41-0 in a game that featured the running clock from the opening kickoff.  Shawnee does not have names with the jersey numbers so all Shawnee info and stats will just be referred to as jersey numbers in the name position.  DeSales recorded 11 first downs and 223 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized twice for 10 yards.  Shawnee recorded two first downs and 20 yards of total offense.  The Golden Eagles had two passes intercepted.

Savion Stivers led DeSales’ ground game with 41 yards on two carries.  Carlos Ordway carried the ball five times for 28 yards and a touchdown.  DeMarcus Avery recorded 23 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Aaron Pfaadt completed four of 10 passes for 69 yards and three touchdowns.  DeMarcus Avery completed two of four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Colton Parrish, Savion Stivers, Demetri Scott, and Noah Herbert caught touchdown passes of 37, 17, 12, and 10 yards respectively.  DeMarcus Avery returned one punt for 45 yards.  Amos Griffith led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Joe Olsen added two solo and two assisted tackles.  Lance Weiter recorded two solo tackles and intercepted two passes.

#12 led Shawnee’s ground game with 14 yards on two carries.  #6 completed two of four passes for 31 yards with one interception.  #13 caught one pass for 24 yards.  #6 led the defense with two solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  #12 also recorded two solo tackles.

Lexington Christian Academy rallied from a 7-0 halftime deficit to defeat Danville by a score of 14-13.  Danville scored a touchdown on a 13 yard pass from Zach Thornton to Seth Gosser with 1:07 remaining on the clock.  However the attempted conversion kick by Nathan Hazlett for the tie was blocked by DeArious Smith and Neil Dickey to preserve the victory.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 14 first downs and 347 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized seven ties for 45 yards and lost a fumble.  Danville recorded 15 first downs and 262 yards of total offense.  The Admirals were penalized two times for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Thomas White led LCA’s ground game with 58 yards on 16 carries.  Jayden Barnhardt carried the ball 11 times for 50 yards.  Xavier Brown recorded 46 yards on 13 carries.  Jayden Barnhardt completed 11 of 16 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns.  Will Vernon caught six passes for 134 yards and a touchdown.  DeArious Smith added three receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown.  DeArious Smith returned one punt for eight yards and returned a kickoff for 26 yards.  Blane Hardin led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles.  DeArious Smith added five solo and two assisted tackles, intercepted a pass in the red zone and was in on the block of the potential tying kick late in the game.  Drew Long recorded two solo and eight assisted tackles.

Brennan McGuire led Danville’s ground game with 108 yards on 20 carries.  Zach Thornton carried the ball nine times for 51 yards.  Zach Thornton completed eight of 18 passes for 69 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Seth Gosser caught three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Brennan McGuire added four receptions for 19 yards.  Brennan McGuire returned one kickoff for 95 yards and a touchdown.  Darrian Bell led the defense with eight solo and eight assisted tackles.  Chase McQueary added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Tres Walker punted five times for a 40.6 yards average.

Austin Barnett led Scott County’s ground game with 120 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.  Montago Jones carried the ball five times for 59 yards and a touchdown.  Cade McKee completed five of six passes for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Glenn Covington caught four passes for 36 yards.  Micah McGlave caught one pass for 35 yards.  Payton Brown caught a four yard touchdown pass.  Glenn Covington returned one punt for 24 yards.  Campton Martin returned four kickoffs for 94 yards with a long return of 77 yards.  Rylan Reed led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Alberto Campos added two solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Berk Watts recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss totaling three yards and recovered a fumble.  Adam Grieving intercepted a pass.

Frederick Douglass continues their domination with a 36-3 victory over Henry Clay to improve to 9-0 for the season.  Henry Clay was hampered tonight by the absence of QB DJ VanHorn due to an ankle injury suffered in a previous game.  Frederick Douglass recorded 11 first downs and 432 yards of total offense.  The Broncos were penalized 10 times for 88 yards.  Henry Clay recorded 13 first downs and 241 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils lost three fumbles and had two passes intercepted.

Damarco Fishback led Douglass’ ground game with 69 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.  Montaveon Bean carried the ball five times for 50 yards.  Cameron Jones completed nine of 13 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns.  Micah Lowe caught four passes for 89 yards and a touchdown.  Dekel Crowdus added two receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown.  Haiden Hunt recorded two receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Montaveon Bean caught one pass for 42 yards.  Haiden Hunt returned one punt for 12 yards and returned one kickoff for 36 yards.  F. Jewett led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles.  Gabe Hillyard added four solo and six assisted tackles.  J. Ashton Foos led Henry Clay’s ground game with 76 yards on 17 carries.  TreQuan Green carried the ball seven times for 64 yards.  Ashton Foos completed seven of 13 passes for 55 yards with two interceptions.  Ramond Jackson caught three passes for 35 yards.  Langston Jackson added three receptions for 21 yards.  Langston Jackson returned three kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return of 19 yards.  Nate Steiner led the defense with five solo tackles.  Jordan Kimball added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.

Anderson County defeated Madison Southern by a score of 40-7.  Anderson County QB Jagger Gillis was on fire tonight as he completed all eleven of his passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns.  Anderson County recorded 25 first downs and 382 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized five times for 38 yards.  Madison Southern recorded six first downs and 210 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized five times for 40 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Brennon Maxberry led Anderson County’s ground game with 132 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Charles Collins carried the ball 13 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns.  Jagger Gillis completed 11 of 11 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns.  Wesley Ruehrwein caught five passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.  J. Woolums added two receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown.  Charles Collins caught a 14 yard touchdown pass.  D. Dearinger led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Aaron Chilton added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and intercepted a pass.  Wesley Ruehrwein recorded two solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Joe Taylor added one solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 18 yards.

Alex Knuckles led Madison Southern’s ground game with 93 yards on 10 carries.  Walt Smith carried the ball twice for 69 yards and a touchdown.  Tobias Storm added 22 yards on 11 carries.  Tobias Storm completed one of nine passes for 11 yards with three interceptions.  Jordan Casteel caught one pass for 11 yards.  Austin Hansel returned five kickoffs for 132 yards with a long return of 36 yards.  Jordan Casteel led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles.  Shane Sandlin added four solo and six assisted tackles.  Alex Knuckles recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.  C. Holbrook added two solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.

Madison Central defeated George Rogers Clark by a score of 31-7 to capture the district championship and improve their record to 7-2.  George Rogers Clark falls to 6-3 for the season.  Madison Central got an excellent performance from QB Derrick Miller who threw for two touchdowns and ran for another score.  Madison Central recorded 14 first downs and 326 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized three times for 32 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded 15 first downs and 235 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 66 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Freddie Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Derrick Miller carried the ball seven times for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Derrick Miller completed eight of 14 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Ethan Hahn caught three passes for 60 yards.  Jarrett Mullins added two receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown.  Blake Muntz caught a 10 yard touchdown pass.  Jackson Juett led the defense with two solo and 10 assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  John Collins added one solo and six assisted tackles.  Ben Snapp recovered a fumble.  Sawyer Cruse intercepted a pass he returned for 12 yards.  Deashon Gowdey intercepted a pass he returned for 14 yards.

Will Henry led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 50 yards on 10 carries.  Nitavius Thomas added 29 yards on 10 carries.  Will Henry Completed 10 of 23 passes for 109 yards with one interception.  Jordan Manley completed four of nine passes for 64 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Farris Shakadih caught six passes for 61 yards.  Dawson Gay added three receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Isaiah Noland carried the ball three times for 28 yards.  Hagan Harrison returned one punt for 34 yards and returned one kickoff for 17 yards.  Azariah Israel returned one kickoff for 24 yards.  Aquavion Lewis led the defense with one solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Keaton Aldridge added one solo and eight assisted tackles.  Landon Langfels recorded one solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Hunter Dunn recorded seven assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Marcus Wiseman recovered a fumble.

Lafayette led 17-0 early in the second quarter but Tates Creek rallied to earn a 22-17 victory.  Lafayette was unable to get their offense going as they only managed 87 yards on 61 plays.  Lafayette was plagued by penalties as they were flagged 14 times for 123 yards and suffered three turnovers ( two fumbles, one interception, and gave up a safety) and gave up a safety.  The Generals were held to eight first downs and were held to a net -4 yards on 30 carries on the ground.  Tates Creek recorded 11 first downs and 258 yards of total offense on 65 plays.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 62 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Marcus Bosley led Tates Creek’s ground game with 70 yards on 21 carries.  Luke Duby completed 13 of 28 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Miles Thomas caught three passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns.  Keshawn Herron returned two kickoffs for 43 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Willie McGhee led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with one interception.  Jaheim Mullins added four solo and three assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 31 yards and recovered a fumble.  JD Hawkins recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards and scored on a two yard fumble recovery.  Monnell Herron added two solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 17 yard loss.  Garrett Belcher recorded a safety.

TJ Robinson led Lafayette’s ground game with 24 yards on nine carries.  Jaylen Lawson carried the ball three times for nine yards and a touchdown.  Quinton Turner completed 11 of 31 passes for 91 yards with one interception.  TeAndre Newcomb caught five passes for 39 yards.  Austin Anderson added three receptions for 30 yards.  TeAndre Newcomb returned two kickoffs for 55 yards with a long return of 49 yards.  Jaylen Lawson led the defense with nine solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards and scored on a 40 yard fumble recovery return.  Austin Blake added seven solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Tyler Moore recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Anthony Burnett recovered a fumble.  Jevan Hardin intercepted a pass and Gage Slone intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Bryan Station earned their first victory of the season with a 27-26 come-from-behind victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar.  Bryan Station recorded 12 first downs and 230 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized six times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 20 first downs and 302 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized five times for 104 yards and lost a fumble.

Jalen Burbage led Bryan Station’s ground game with 114 yards with three touchdowns on 15 carries.  Amodeus Taylor carried the ball 15 times for 70 yards.  Antoine Smith added 41 yards on eight carries.  Jalen Burbage completed one of three passes for five yards with one interception.  Kendrick Curry caught one pass for five yards.  Kendrick Curry returned a kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown.  Brandon Fields led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Bryson Fields added four solo and five assisted tackles.  Kyran Campbell recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.  Dennis Abw added three solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Mitchell Joseph led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 189 yards and two touchdowns on 42 carries.  Alex Bard carried the ball 13 times for 62 yards.  Nate Thomas added eight yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Tanner Cox completed three of five passes for 43 yards and a touchdown.  J. Robinson caught two passes for 37 yards and a touchdown.  Gettler-James led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles.  Howard Jackson added six solo and two assisted tackles.  Isaac Armstrong recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Xzavian Jones recovered a fumble and Tyler Johnson intercepted a pass.

Lexington Catholic utilized their air attack (256 yards and four touchdowns) to defeat Garrard County by a score of 39-22.  Lexington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 332 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized nine times for 100 yards and lost a fumble.  Lexington Catholic averaged 9.2 yards on 36 offensive plays while Garrard County averaged 3.7 yards on 67 offensive plays.  Garrard County recorded 18 first downs and 246 yards of total offense.  The Golden Lions were penalized five times for 36 yards and lost a fumble.

Beau Allen led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 42 yards on four carries.  Keith Brinkman carried the ball nine times for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Beau Allen completed 12 of 20 passes for 256 yards and four touchdowns.  Tommy Knopp caught three passes for 39 yards.  Jackson Corbett added two receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Schnurr recorded two receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Luke Powell and Dylan Bracken added touchdown receptions of 56 and 55 yards.  Nathan Schnurr returned one punt for 27 yards.  Trenton Neuer returned two kickoffs for 28 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Dylan Bracken returned one kickoff for 38 yards.  Clay Callahan led the defense with eight solo and eight assisted tackles.  Brennan Emnett added seven solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss and recovered a fumble.  Henry Holthaus recorded nine solo and one assisted tackles.  C. Coulter added six solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.

Pennington carried the ball 21 times for 42 yards.  Jacob Hacker added 32 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Brice Burkhart recorded 16 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Brice Burkhart completed three of six passes for 54 yards.  Trace Poynter caught three passes for 54 yards.  Willie Rader returned four kickoffs for 69 yards with a long return of 22 yards.  Cortez Ison led the defense with five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Trayce Poynter added four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Jacoby Tuggle recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Brice Burkhart added three solo tackles and recovered a fumble he returned for 50 yards.
