Henry Clay defeated George Rogers Clark 35-13 in a game that was stopped with 3:53 left in the fourth quarter due to weather conditions.  Henry Clay recorded 17 first downs and 424 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized nine times for 79 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded 16 first downs and 239 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 31 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Davonte Robinson led Henry Clay’s ground game with 128 yards and two touchdowns on four carries.  Austin Bledsoe carried the ball 13 times for 126 yards.  CJ Tackett completed four of 10 passes for 82 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Marcus Tyler completed five of six passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Tyven McWhorter caught three passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.  Bray Berezowitz added two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Davonte Robinson led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Amir Gatewood added five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  R. Irving recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards and scored on a 57 yard fumble recovery return.

Josiah Israel led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 176 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries.  Pierce Nisbet completed four of eight passes for 45 yards with one interception.  Owen Irvin completed three of eight passes for 31 yards and a touchdown.  Jaden Farris caught four passes for 42 yards.  Micah Israel added two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown.  Jordan Conner led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Aaron Norriss and Jaden Farris added four solo and one assisted tackles each

Scott County raced out to a 40-0 halftime lead on their way to a 54-28 victory over Highlands.  Scott County recorded 17 first downs and 473 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 90 yards and lost a fumble.  Highlands recorded 13 first downs and 300 yards of total offense.  The Bluebirds were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Noah Hughes led Scott County’s ground game with 82 yards on seven carries.  Keith Guy carried the ball six times for 64 yards and two touchdowns.  Josh Davis added 52 yards and a touchdown on one carry.  Caleb Demus carried the ball four times for 43 yards.  Josh Davis completed seven of seven passes for 140 yards and one touchdown.  Cooper Robb completed two of three passes for 46 yards.  G. Covington caught six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.  Jordan Darnell caught one pass for 57 yards.  Simon Bond scored on a 70 yard kickoff return.  Cooper Robb led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Gavin Hernandez added two solo and two assisted tackles.  Dylan Smith scored on an 18 yard fumble recovery.

Nick Kendall led Highland’s ground game with 97 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Brady Gosney carried the ball three times for 82 yards and two touchdowns.  Brady Gosney completed 10 of 25 passes for 98 yards with one interception.  Chandler New caught three passes for 48 yards.  Carson Fitters added two receptions for 27 yards.  Kyle Rust and Ausin Mayhew led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles each.  Tyler Robinson added two solo and three assisted tackles.  Luke Lindeman scored on a 61 yard fumble recovery.

Trinity scored early and often as they dominated in a 70-14 victory over Lafayette.  Trinity recorded 31 first downs and 509 yards of total offense.  The Shamrocks were penalized once for five yards.  Lafayette recorded seven first downs and 178 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized five times for 39 yards.

Jailen Reed led Trinity’s ground game with 163 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.  Jovan Smith carried the ball nine times for 82 yards and a touchdown.  Jacob Woosley completed 14 of 16 passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns.  Rodjay Burns caught six passes for 105 yards and four touchdowns.  Rodjay Burns also scored on an 82 yard punt return.  Rodjay Burns led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Vince Lococo added three solo tackles.  Damon Lowe also recorded three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.

M. Silvestri led Lafayette’s ground game with 16 yards on three carries.  Walker Wood carried the ball six times for 14 yards.  Walker Wood completed 10 of 26 passes for 128 yards.  Quinten Brown caught three passes for 92 yards.  Mason Alstatt returned five kickoffs for 303 yards including returns of 97 and 98 yards for touchdowns.  Michael Clay led the defense with five solo tackles.  Javarus Blair added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Johnson Central utilized their powerful ground attack (453 yards and five touchdowns on 64 carries) to defeat Lexington Catholic 42-28.  Johnson Central recorded 21 first downs and 453 yards of total offense.  The Golden Eagles were penalized 12 times for 105 yards and lost two fumbles.  Lexington Catholic recorded 15 first downs and 311 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized six times for 64 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Conner Ratliff led Johnson Central’s ground attack with 113 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Bryce Skaggs carried the ball 11 times for 111 yards and a touchdown.  Brice Workman added 107 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Gunner Slone carried the ball 17 times for 68 yards and a touchdown.  Brice Workman was zero of two in passing attempts.  Seth Marcum scored on a 52 yard kickoff return.  Tyler Pack punted four times for a 48.8 average with a long punt of 51 yards.  Blake Martin led the defense with seven solo tackles and an interception he returned 27 yards.  Brice Workman added five solo tackles.

Brett Balcirak led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 33 yards on three carries.  Jaylen Jones carried the ball 11 times for 28 yards and a touchdown.  Legend Brumbaugh completed 14 of 24 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Kirk Fagot completed four of seven passes for 110 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  JJ Ogbogu caught six passes for 28 yards.  Andy Thompson added four receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns.  Andy Thompson returned two punts for 64 yards and a kickoff for 39 yards.  JJ Ogbogu returned two kickoffs for 90 yards.  Jack Fagot led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles.  Austin Pedroche added six solo and four assisted tackles.  Andy Hickey recorded five solo and six assisted tackles and scored on a 65 yard fumble recovery return.  Sid Sharp added three solo and nine assisted tackles.

Madison Central raced out to a 31-0 halftime lead on their way to a 52-28 victory over Bourbon County.  Madison Central recorded 22 first downs and 496 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 63 yards and lost three fumbles.  Bourbon County recorded eight first down and 304 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized 10 times for 74 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Johan Williams led Madison Central’s ground game with 174 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.  Korrion Crier carried the ball 12 times for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Jabari Huguely added 60 yards on seven carries.  Zach Hardin completed 10 of 18 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns.  Keenan Miller caught four passes for 75 yards.  Kody Kidd added two receptions for 25 yards.  Lawrence Lee Jr. and John Williams had touchdown receptions of 64 yards and 2 yards respectively.  Jabari Huguely led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 25 yards.  KJ Long added two solo and three assisted tackles.  Dante Altamirano intercepted a pass.  Kody Kidd returned one punt for 51 yards.

Marquaze Hill led Bourbon County’s ground game with 125 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Clay Bolin ran for two touchdowns.  Clay Bolin completed six of 20 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Billy Orcutt caught three passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Tyler Whetstine led the defense with 10 solo and eight assisted tackles.  Dalton Williams added five solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an eight yard loss.  Zach Hawkins, Jorge Mendez, and Trevor Lucky each recovered a fumble.

Anderson County 27  George Rogers Clark 26 – Anderson County rallied from a 20-7 deficit to earn the victory.  Tyler Peters scored on an 11 yard run, a 17 yard pass reception, and a 55 yard interception return to lead the victors.

 

Franklin County 20  Western Hills 7 – Franklin County held a 375-168 advantage in total yardage in tonight’s victory.

 

Belfry 55  Tates Creek 38 Derek Wellman carried the ball 16 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns and Xondre Willis added 161 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries to lead Belfry.  Peyton Burke threw for five touchdowns to lead Tates Creek.

Belfry utilized their punishing ground game (63 carries for 502 yards and eight touchdowns) to defeat Tates Creek by a score of 55-38.  Belfry recorded 26 first downs and 502 yards of total offense.  The Pirates were penalized twice for 31 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 391 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized eight times for 48 yards and lost a fumble.

Derek Wellman led Belfry’s ground attack with 171 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries.  Xondre Willis carried the ball 11 times for 161 yards and three touchdowns.  Andrew Fletcher carried the ball 19 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns.  Cameron Catron carried the ball five times for 59 yards.  Noah Corbett’s only pass attempt was incomplete.  T. Dotson led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles.  Cameron Catron added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Raquan Horton was a force on defense as two of his tackles resulted in losses totaling 12 yards.

Peyton Burke led Tates Creek’s ground game with 13 carries for 47 yards.  Peyton Burke completed 25 of 41 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns.  Jackson Beerman caught nine passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns.  Conner Gibson added six receptions for 26 yards.  Turner Gentry added three receptions for 62 yards.  Jaden Baird added three receptions for 30 yards and two touchdowns.  Elijah Johnson scored on a 69 yard hook-and-ladder play.  Opsal Sakima led the defense with 13 solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Dee Moorman added eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Brody Sellers recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.

Franklin County defeated Western Hills by a score of 20-7.  Franklin County recorded 16 first downs and 375 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 75 yards and lost a fumble.  Western Hills recorded eight first downs and 168 yards of total offense.  The Wolverines were penalized five times for 87 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.

Denzell Vance led Franklin County’s ground game with 82 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Landon Hurst carried the ball nine times for 57 yards.  Barrett Sanderson completed 11 of 16 passes for 165 yards.  Landon Hurst completed both his passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.  DeMarcus Kennedy caught four passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.  Landon Hurst added two receptions for 38 yards.  Ten tackles with four of the tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards and a fumble recovery were attributed to the team and not credited to an individual.  Makale Marks added five solo tackles and an interception.  Koreleone Bailey recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.

Wandel Robinson led Western Hills’ ground game with 50 yards on four carries.  D. Childress carried the ball 15 times for 47 yards and a touchdown.  D. Childress completed seven of 13 passes for 44 yards with one interception.  Trevor James caught two passes for 27 yards.  Twelve tackles with three of the tackles resulting in losses totaling 20 yards and a fumble recovery were attributed to the team and not credited to an individual.  Andrew Hannah added six solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  DJ Green recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.

Lafayette rolled up 568 yards of total offense in a 53-13 victory over Mercer County.  Lafayette recorded 24 first downs and 568 yards of total offense averaging 9.6 yards on 59 offensive plays.  The Generals were penalized 11 times for 121 yards and lost a fumble.  Mercer County recorded 10 first downs and 194 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized five times for 51 yards and lost a fumble.

M. Silvestri led the Lafayette ground attack with 108 yards on nine carries.  Mason Alstatt carried the ball five times for 68 yards and two touchdowns.  Teandre Newcomb added 42 yards and a touchdown on one carry.  TJ Matrin carried the ball once for 40 yards and a touchdown.  Walker Wood completed 19 of 31 yards for 293 yards and three touchdowns.  Quinten Brown caught 10 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.  M. Guilfoil added four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Dekwan Edwards added two receptions for 39 yards.  Mason Alstatt scored on a 92 yard kickoff return.  Kyle Browning led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Wes Kirk added five solo and three assisted tackles.

Dustin Baker led Mercer County’s ground game with 26 yards on 11 carries.  Drew Davis carried the ball four times for 20 yards.  Drew Davis completed 10 of 22 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.  Malik Dow caught three passes for 33 yards.  Aaron Johnson caught a 34 yard touchdown pass.  Dustin Baker punted four times for an average of 50.5 with a long punt of 60 yards.  C. Jaylen Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground attack with 95 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Legend Brumbaugh completed 24 of 38 passes for 381 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  JJ Ogbogu caught nine passes for 183 yards and one touchdown.  Donovan Morris added five receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Andy Thompson also caught five passes for 56 yards.  Jaylen Jones added two receptions for 32 yards.  Eric Foster led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Andy Hickey added six solo tackles.  A. Lauterbach recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.  Jack Fagot intercepted a pass.
