Anderson County 46  Newport Central Catholic 43 – NCC led 14-2 but Anderson County rallied for the victory.  Eriel McKee led the victors with 13 points and eight rebounds.  Sydney Brown and Mackenzie Cann added 11 points each.  Hannah Thiem led NCC with 12 points.  Brittany Fryer added 10 points.  Aubrey Muench chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.  Nicole Kiernan recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

 

Ryle 48  Community School FL 43  Ryle outscored Community School 23-6 in the final quarter to earn the victory.  Jenna Crittendon led Ryle with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Michelle Woods led Community School with 13 points and seven assists.  Hunter Martin added 10 points.

 

Perry County Central 76  Lexington Catholic 73 -  Kendall Noble led the victors with 29 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and seven steals.  Kayla  Rankin added 23 points, nine rebounds, and six steals.  Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 25 points.  Kendra Shaw added 12 points and Alex Botkin recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds.

 

Franklin County 78  St. Joseph WV 61 – Lacinda Hack led Franklin County with 22 points.  Ashli Mayes added 20 points and eight rebounds.  Brittany Mello chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.  Sara Sang led St. Joseph with 25 points and seven rebounds.  Griffin Dempsey added 11 points and Mychal Johnson chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.

 

Conner 73  Dayton Dunbar OH 23 – Toria Fischer led Conner with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Chantel Kee led Dayton Dunbar with 12 points.

 

Garrard County 51  Betsy Layne 41 – Haley Meadows and Autumn Murray led the victors with 13 and 11 points respectively.  Taylor Hott led Betsy Layne with 15 points.

 

Ballard 69  Owensboro Catholic 62 – Javonna Layfield led Ballard with 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Jaylan Bodiford added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Daryius Franklin and Alexus Colbert added 12 and 11 points respectively.  Rebecca Greenwell led Owensboro Catholic with 42 points including four thee point baskets and pulled down eight rebounds.

 

Southwestern 51  Clay County 48 – Danay Fothergill led Southwestern with 24 points including four thee point baskets.  Adison Corder added 10 points.  Alisha Mitchell led Clay County with 13 points including three three point baskets.  Whitney Belle Jackson added 12 points and six rebounds.  Kayla Smith also tallied 12 points.

 

Grayson County 54  Lincoln County 43 – Kelsea Wilson led Grayson County with 16 points and 12 rebounds.  Alex Crowe added 15 points including three three point baskets and pulled down eight rebounds.  Emily Fox led Lincoln County with 17 points.

 

Butler 59  North Laurel 50 – Aareon Smith led Butler with 20 points and nine rebounds.  April Wilson.  Mackenzie Martinez and Heather Wheat added 11 and 10 points respectively.  Tamara Crawford led North Laurel with 15 points.  Kelsie Smith added 13 points and Cheyenne Madden recorded 12 points and nine rebounds.

 

Murray 46  Central 40 – Janssen Starks led Murray with 18 points including four thee point baskets.  Haley Armstrong added 12 points and Shelby Crouch pulled down 11 rebounds.  Brianna Averette led Central with 14 points.

 

Assumption 69  Knott County Central 53 – Dee Dee Sliter, Morgan Foley, and Maggie Hartlage led Assumption with 13, 12, and 10 points respectively.  Katie Friedrich pulled down 13 rebounds.  Paige Slone led KCC with 22 points including three three point baskets.  Kelsie Jacobs added 12 points.

Sacred Heart Academy 52  Marion County 40 (Quarterfinal) – Sacred Heart outscored Marion County 16-6 in the last quarter.  Morgan Clemons led the victors with 17 points and eight rebounds.  Maddie Peabody and Jade Tubb added 12 and 10 points respectively.  Makayla Epps led Marion County with 15 points.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers added 14 points and six rebounds.

 

Bowling Green 81  Christian Academy of Louisville 54 (Quarterfinal) – Alexis Lawrence  led the victors with 23 points including five three point baskets.  Adrienne Tarrence added 21 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.  Zoe Sibalich added 17 points.  China Dow led CAL with 15 points and eight rebounds.  Kate Joss added 14 points.

 

Mercy Academy 73  Boone County 64 (Quarterfinal) – Juliann Miller led Mercy with 27 points.  Miller was 13 of 17 from the field and one of two from the free throw line.  Emily Goetz added 13 points.  Christine Roush added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Lauren Faris also recorded 12 points.  Sydney Moss led Boone County with 21 points and 14 rebounds.  Elizabeth Switzer and Stacie Shrout added 12 and 11 points respectively.

Knott County Central 51  Betsy Layne 38 – Sasha Pike led the victors with 18 points and 16 rebounds.  Kelsie Jacobs and Keisha Perkins added 13 and 12 points respectively.  Taylor Hott led Betsy Layne with 21 points including three three point baskets.

 

Butler 87  Dayton Dunbar (OH) 21 – Butler scored 53 points off 40  Dayton Dunbar turnovers.  Mackenzie Martinez, Alexis Stallard, Megan Cureton, and Danielle Lawrence led Butler with 18, 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.  Cureton also pulled down 10 rebounds.  Shatoria Gullatte led Dayton Dunbar with six points.  Keysha Bryant added five points and nine rebounds.

Grayson County 65  Owensboro Catholic 62 – Alex Crowe, Kylee Gorby, and Kelsea Wilson led Grayson County with 17, 16, and 11 points respectively.  Rebecca Greenwell led Owensboro Catholic with 32 points including five three point baskets.  Laura Riney added 12 points on four three point baskets.

 

Murray 60  Clay County 53 – Murray was nine of 13 from beyond the arc in a come-from-behind victory over Clay County.  Janssen Starks led the victors with 22 points including five three point baskets.  Haley Armstrong added 14 points.  Alicia Mitchell and Whitney Belle Jackson led Clay County with 15 and 12 points respectively.

Lincoln County 44  North Laurel 40 – 6-0 So. Sydney Harris led Lincoln County with 16 points and five rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Morgan Reed added 12 points.  5-11 So. Cheyenne Madden led North Laurel with 17 points.  5-6 Jr. Tamara Crawford added 12 points.

 

Southwestern 63  Betsy Layne 45 – Southwestern outscored Betsy Layne 24-9 in the final quarter.  5-7 Sr. Danay Fothergill led the victors with 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  6-1 Sr. Jessica Pierce added 17 points and 10 rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Taylor Hott led Betsy Layne with 21 points.  5-10 Sr. Taylor Watkins pulled down 11 rebounds.

Central 41  Knott County Central 31 – Central defeated Knott County Central 17-3 in the final quarter and scored 20 points off 26 Knott County Central.  5-9 Sr. Brianna Averette led the victors with 15 points and seven rebounds.  5-7 Jr. Kelsie Jacobs led KCC with eight points.  5-7 Jr. Sasha Pike pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Grayson County 66  Butler 63 – 5-11 Jr. Kelsea Wilson led Grayson County with 22 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Kylee Gorby added 18 points and six rebounds.  5-5 Sr. Alex Crowe chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.  5-7 MacKenzie Martinez, 5-9 Sr. Megan Cureton, 5-9 So. Aareon Smith, and 5-2 Jr. Cora Moore led Butler with 15, 13, 13, and 11 points respectively.

Owensboro Catholic 89  Dayton Dunbar OH 40 – 6-1 So. Becca Greenwell led the victors with 49 points, 17 rebounds, 12 steals, and six assists.  5-4 Jr. Laura Riney and 6-0 Jr. Mary Kate Clemens added 14 and 11 points respectively.  5-5 Sr. Chantel Kee led Dayton Dunbar with 20 points including three three point baskets.

 

Clay County 61  Assumption 46 – 6-1 Sr. Whitney Belle Jackson led Clay County with a career-high 35 points.  Jackson pulled down 12 rebounds.  Whitney Belle was 14 of 16 from the field and seven of 10 from the free throw line.  5-7 Sr. Kayla Smith added 15 points on sevn of eight from the field and one of three from the free throw line.  5-8 So. Dee Dee Sliter led Assumption with 23 points including three three point baskets.  Sliter was 10 of 14 from the field including three of four from beyond the arc.

Marion County 58  Southwestern 54 – 5-9 Jr. Bre Elder led Marion County with 29 points.  5-7 Sr. Danay Fothergill led Southwestern with 33 points including five three point baskets and pulled down 11 rebounds.

 

Newport Central Catholic 47  Lincoln County 44 – 5-7 Sr. Hannah Thiem led NCC with 18 points.  5-10 Fr. Nicole Kiernan added 13 points and nine rebounds.  5-6 So. Emily Fox led Lincoln County with 18 points.

St. Joseph WV 63  Murray 57 – 5-8 Fr. Mychal Johnson led the victors with 26 points including 13 of 14 free throws, and pulled down eight rebounds.  5-4 Fr. Griffin Dempset and 5-5 Jr. Amber Chadwick added 15 and 14 points respectively.  6-0 Sr. Sara Sang pulled down 17 rebounds.  5-6 So.Janssen Starks led Murray with 14 points.  5-6 Sr. Haley Armstrong added 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists.  5-11 Jr. Shelby Crouch and 6-2 Sr. Sian House each pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Lexington Catholic 86  Dayton Dunbar OH 14 – Lexington Catholic scored 60 points off 45 Dayton Dunbar turnovers.  The Lexington Catholic starters playing time ranged from 8:34 to 11:55 minutes.  5-9 So. Octavia Wilson led the victors with 16 points.  5-9 8th grader Rachel Blake added 11 points and 12 rebounds.  5-5 8th grader Tori Pippen also scored 11 points.  5-2 Jr. Shatoria Gullatte led Dayton Dunbar with five points.  5-7 Sr. Jalisa Porter pulled down 11 rebounds.

 

Boone County 41  Assumption 37 (OT) – 5-2 Sr. Stacie Shrout led Boone County with 16 points including four three point baskets.  5-9 Sr. Maggie Hartlage led Assumption with 14 points.

 

CAL 65  Owensboro Catholic 53 – Cal scored 30 points off 26 Owensboro Catholic turnovers.  CAL only led 31-30 at halftime but pulled away in the second half for the victory.  5-10 So. China Dow led CAL with 24 points and 17 rebounds.  5-6 Sr. Emily Walden added 13 points.  6-1 So. Rebecca Greenwell led Owensboro Catholic with 35 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds.

 

Franklin County 49  Clay County 44 – 5-10 Jr. Ashli Mayes led Franklin County with 14 points.  5-11 Sr. Chelsea Rivers added 11 points and six rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Whitney Belle Jackson led Clay County with 16 points and 10 rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Sabrina Smith added 12 points.

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-0 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-2 Sr. Bradley Strait, 6-4 Sr. Dylan Pohl, 6-5 Jr. Sean Donaldson, 6-0 Sr. Jaree Patton, and 5-8 Sr. David Martin.

Madison Central outscored West Jessamine 25-13 in the final quarter to earn a 64-54 victory.  The Indians scored 29 points off 26 West Jessamine turnover in  tonight’s game. Madison Central shot 41.2% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and held an 18-5 advantage in bench points.  West Jessamin shot 52.4% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 24 points and six steals.  Hunter Allen added nine points and six rebounds.  Brenton Covington also scored nine points.  Nick Ford pulled down 10 rebounds.

Sean Donaldson led West Jessamine with 18 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Donaldson was nine of 10 from the field.  Bradley Strait and David Martin each recorded nine points.  Dylan Pohl recorded eight points and 11 rebounds.

LCA held a 33-12 advantage in three point points to eke out a 58-57 victory over Lincoln County.  LCA shot 46.7% from the field including 11 of 31 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 51.1% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 LCA turnovers.

Taylor Barnette had a great night with 40 points including eight three pointers.  Barnette was 15 of 25 from the field including eight of 16 from beyond the arc and two of two from the free throw line.  5-8 So. Tyler Harville added nine points.

Zack Hill also had an excellent outing for Lincoln County with 33 points and 13 rebounds.  Hill was 12 of 18 from the field including three of seven from beyond the arc and six of eight from the free throw line.  Luke Hill added 10 points.  Trenton Edgington dished out 11 assists and recorded four steals.

Madison Central coach Robbie Cooksey started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Sr. Jenna Cornelison, 5-10 Jr. Kristen Congleton, 5-6 Sr. Erika Parks, and 5-5 So. Larryn Brooks.  Bryan Station coach Karra Jackson countered with 5-7 Sr. Victoria Clark, 5-9 So. Serena Sandusky, 6-0 Sr. Amber Crumbie, 5-7 Sr. Marissa Prince, and 5-6 Sr. Carrington Caise.

Bryan Station defeated Madison Central 67-60 in a battle between two of the top teams in the 11th Region.  Bryan Station raced out to a 20-14 first quarter lead but Madison Central rallied and the score was tied 48-48 at the end of three quarters.  Madison Central was within two points with a minute left in the game but key misses at the free throw line allowed Bryan Station to pull away for the victory. 

Bryan Station shot 38.3% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 15 of 28 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 31.3% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Bryan Station turnovers.

Serena Sandusky led a balanced Bryan Station scoring attack with 17 points including two three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.  Amber Crumbie added 16 points and 12 rebounds.  Marissa Prince chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.  Carrington Caise recorded 11 points and six rebounds.

Jenna Cornelison led Madison Central with 23 points including three three point baskets and pulled down eight rebounds.  Larryn Brooks added 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Ashton Feldhaus chipped in with 11 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Kristen Congleton added 10 points and pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds.

Javonna Layfield, 5-10 Fr. Kianna Richardson, 5-10 So. Iesha Davis, 5-7 Jr. Daryius Franklin, and 5-9 So. Alexus Colbert.

Sacred Heart shot 65.2% from the field in the first half and took a 39-20 lead on their way to a 57-45 victory over Ballard.  Sacred Heart cooled off in the second half only shooting 25% from the field allowing Ballard to cut the final deficit to 12; 57-45.

Sacred Heart shot 44.7% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 26 Ballard turnovers.  Ballard shot 31.7% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bruins connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off 23 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Maddie Peabody led Sacred Heart with 18 points including four three point baskets.  Peabody was six of nine from the field including four of seven from the three point line two of four free throws.  Morgan Clemons added 10 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Javonna Layfield led Ballard with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.  Daryius Franklin added 10 points.

Knott County Central defeated Bryan Station by a score of 44-33.  Bryan Station led 21-20 at halftime but only connected on four of 24  (16.7%) from the field in the second half. Knott county Central outscored Bryan Station 15-2 in the final period. Knott County Central shot 44.8% (13 of 29) from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Patriots connected on 13 of 20 from the free throw line, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 24.1% (13 of 54) including four of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Knott County Central turnovers.

Zack Davis led Knott County Central with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Seth Adams added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Nason Roberts recorded six points and 14 rebounds.

Otis Webb led Bryan Station with 13 points including two three point baskets and recorded four steals.  Deon Renfro added six points.

Manual defeated highlands by a score of 65-55.  Manual shot 39.7% from the field including six of 25 from the three point line.  The Crimsons connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 22 Highlands turnovers.  Highlands shot 54.8% from the field including six of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Bluebirds connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Manual turnovers.

Quintez Sutton led Manual with 21 points and six rebounds.  Trey Wells added 18 points.  Noel Eckman recorded six points and nine rebounds.

Patrick Towles led Highlands with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Towles was seven of nine from the field including one of one from beyond the arc, and one of three from the free throw line.  Ryan Egan added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Jr. Samson Lewis chipped in with 10 points.
