Grace Christian (NC) vs. IMG Academy (FL) (Girls)

Grace Christian coach Chad Revelle started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Isabella Roman, 5-7 Jr. Miyah Campbell, 6-2 Sr. Sarah Strong, 5-6 Jr. Halisi Whitley, and 5-6 Sr. Serenity McNair. IMG Academy coach Frank Oliver Jr. countered with 6-2 Jr. Deniaya Prawl, 5-10 Sr. Tajianna Roberts, 6-4 Sr. Heloisa Carrera, 5-6 Sr. Leah Harmon, and 5-9 Jr. Kelis Fisher.

Grace Christian led by 13 points in the first quarter but IMG Academy outscored the Crusaders 21-13 in the third quarter on their way to a 76-68 victory. There were four ties and two lead changes in this game. IMG Academy shot 53.7% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Ascenders connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Grace Christian turnovers. Grace Christian shot 38.6% from the field including 15 of 31 from beyond the arc. The Crusaders connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off seven IMG Academy turnovers.

Tajianna Roberts led IMG Academy with 24 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Leah Harmon added 18 points including seven of eight free throws, three rebounds, and four steals. Kelis Fisher recorded 13 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. 6-0 Jr. Lena Girardi chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, and three assists. Montverde Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat IMG Academy by the score of 61-53. There were 10 times and six lead changes in this game. Montverde Academy shot 41.2% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 IMG Academy turnovers. IMG Academy shot 44.4% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Ascenders connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Montverde Academy turnovers.

Jaloni Cambridge led Montverde Academy with 17 points including seven of 12 free throws, six rebounds, nine assists, and two steals. Vivian Iwuchukwu added 17 points including five of seven free throws, and six rebounds. Lourdes Da Silva Costa recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds. Chloe Sotell chipped in with six points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.

Kelis Fisher led IMG Academy with 24 points including eight of 11 free throws, and two rebounds. Tajianna Roberts added 16 points including two three point baskets, and two steals. Deniaya Prawl recorded 10 points including two of two free throws, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Paul VI coach Glenn Farello started the following lineup: 6-8 Sr. Isaiah Abraham, 6-6 Sr. Darren Harris, 6-11 Sr. Garrett Sundra, 5-11 Sr. Benjamin Hammond, and 6-3 Jr. Jordan Smith Jr. Montverde Academy coach Kevin Boyle countered with 6-9 Sr. Cooper Flagg, 6-8 Sr. Liam McNeeley, 6-10 Sr. Asa Newell, 6-1 Sr. Robert Wright, and 6-10 Sr. Derik Queen.

Montverde Academy defeated Paul VI by the score of 79-63. Montverde Academy shot 60% from the field including nine of 20 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Paul VI turnovers. Paul VI shot 46.2% from the field including nine of 24 from beyond the arc. The Panthers connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Montverde Academy turnovers.

6-3 Sr. Curtis Givens led Montverde Academy with 24 points including six three point baskets, four of four free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. Derik Queen added 19 points including seven of nine free throws, six rebounds, and four assists. Cooper Flagg recorded 16 points including two three point baskets, two of two free throws, eight rebounds, two assists, six blocked shots, and one steal. Robert Wright chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Darren Harris led Paul VI with 16 points including three three point baskets, three of three free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. Isaiah Abraham added 12 points including two three point baskets, and four rebounds. 6-11 Sr. Patrick Ngongba recorded 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Benjamin Hammond chipped in with seven points, three rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Garrett Sundra added six points on two three point baskets, and three rebounds. Jordan Smith Jr. recorded six points, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
