Male coach Tim Haworth countered with 6-5 Jr. Jayson Gasaway, 6-2 Sr. Terrence Hall, 6-6 Jr. Keashawn Jordan, 5-11 Sr. Max Gainey, and 6-2 So. Cole Edelen.

6-5 Jr. Jack Armstrong hit a three point baskets with 35 seconds remaining in the game to give Spencer County a 63-61 victory over Male. Spencer County outscored Male 22-10 in the final quarter. There were six lead changes and two ties in this game. Newport trailed 35-25 in the third quarter but Newport rallied to take a 46-45 lead in the final minute setting the stage for Dawson’s heroics. Great Crossing shot 44.2% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored six points off eight Newport turnovers. Newport shot 40% from the field including five of 14 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 11 points off Nine Great Crossing turnovers.

Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 Jr. Vince Dawson III, 7-1 Jr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 Jr. Gage Richardson. Fairdale coach John Hunt countered with 6-4 Jr. Joseph Hurt, 6-4 Sr. Jacob Tucker, 6-6 Sr. Brandon Smith, 6-1 Sr. Cameron Croney, and 6-3 Sr. Dalton Hicks.

Great Crossing outscored Fairdale 23-9 in the second quarter on their way to a 78-58 victory. Great Crossing shot 57.1% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off eight Fairdale turnovers. Fairdale shot 42.3% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 14 points off eight Great Crossing turnovers.

Junius Burrell led Great Crossing with 21 points including five three point baskets, two assists, and two steals. Annor Boateng led Little Rock Central with 19 points including two three point baskets, three of five free throws, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Chris Washington added 16 points including four of four free throws, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Daniel Culberson recorded 16 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals. Little Rock Central shot 36.4% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Great Crossing turnovers.

Junius Burrell led Great Crossing with 17 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Vince Dawson III added 12 points and four assists. Malachi Moreno recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and three steals. Jeremiah Godfrey chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two steals.
