Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Tyler Doyle, 6-5 Sr. Hudson Sparks, 7-1 Sr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Jr. John Reinhart, and 6-3 Jr. Brody Turner. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-5 Sr. Jaylen Davis, 6-3 Sr. Jayden West, 6-7 Sr. Robby Todd, 5-11 Jr. Parker Mullins, and 6-2 Jr. Eli Steele.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 19-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 58-49 victory over Madison Central. Lexington Catholic shot 51.3% from the field including seven of 13 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 11 of 12 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 43.2% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Hudson Sparks led Lexington Catholic with 16 points including four three point baskets and two steals. Reece Potter added 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Tyler Doyle recorded nine points, five rebounds, and seven assists. John Reinhart chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets, three assists, and two steals. Brody Turner added seven points.

Jayden West led Madison Central with 20 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals. Jaylen Davis added 15 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Robby Todd recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.
