Nicholas County coach Greg Letcher started the following lineup: 5-5 Jr. Sydney Carpenter, 5-4 Sr. Jada Cleaver, 5-8 Sr. Meghan Harmon, 5-5 Sr. Amberlee Hedges, and 5-7 8th Grade Maggie Simons. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central rallied from a 40-39 deficit with less than five minutes left in the game to outscore Nicholas County 14-2 down the stretch to earn a 53-42 victory. Madison Central shot 41.8% from the field including one of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 22 Nicholas County turnovers. Nicholas County shot 31% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jackets connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 25 points including five of five free throws, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Nataya Strader added 13 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Brittany Campbell recorded 10 points, two rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

5-8 Jr. Tessa Humphries led Nicholas County with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Amberlee Hedges added 12 points on four three point baskets. Maggie Simons recorded nine points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Jada Cleaver chipped in with six points and four rebounds.
