Rockcastle County coach Andrew Cash started the following lineup: 6-7 Fr. Walker Craig, 6-5 Sr. Kaden Kidwell, 6-7 So. Connor Hunt, 6-1 Fr. Travis Jace Rogers, and 6-5 Jr. Skyler B Durham. Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-3 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-1 Jr. Zach Hudson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 So. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson.

Rockcastle County defeated Madison Southern 82-78 in a hotly contested game that had 11 ties and 11 lead changes. Rockcastle County shot 48.1% from the field including 11 of 23 from the three point line. The Rockets connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 54% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Rockcastle County turnovers.

Walker Craig led Rockcastle County with 27 points including four three point baskets, seven of nine free throws, five rebounds, and two assists. 6-1 Jr. Trenton Wilson added 26 points including four three point baskets, 10 of 10 free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. 6-4 So. Broedy Dunaway recorded 12 points, 2 rebounds, and eight assists. Travis Jace Rogers chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 19 points including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Casen Nobbe added 15 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, five assists, and six steals. Brett Erslan recorded 12 points and four rebounds. Zach Hudson chipped in with 11 points, three rebounds, and six assists. Braden Hudson added nine points, three rebounds, and two assists.
