Madison Central vs. Scott County (Girls) (JV)

Madison County coach Ashley Snow started the following lineup: Bailey Hensley, Nataya Strader, Presley Lochmuller, Brittany Campbell, and Tiana Long.  Scott County countered with Irene Persley, Kelsie Hall, Tyra Young, Maleiyah Moore, and Brianna Penney.

 

Madison Central raced out to a 20-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 50-34 victory over Scott County.  Madison Central shot 39.1% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 28.6% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on two of five free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Brittany Campbell led Madison Central with 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and four steals.  Campbell was five of five from the field including two of two from beyond the arc.  Bailey Hensley added six points and four rebounds.  Olivia Metcalfe chipped in with six points and two steals.  Eden Carter chipped in with four points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  

 

Kelsie Hall led Scott County with eight points.  Maleiyah Moore added six points including two three point baskets, two assists, and four steals.  Tyra Young recorded six points, three rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Irene Persley chipped in with four points and eight rebounds.
