Bethlehem coach Jason Clark started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Ella Thompson, 5-7 Jr. Kasey Spalding, 6-0 So. Emma Filiatreau, 5-5 Sr. Amelia Hodges, and 5-5 Fr. Carlie Thurmond.  Sacred Heart Academy Donna Moir countered with 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-11 Fr. Angelina Pelayo, 6-0 Jr. Alex Wolff, 5-6 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr. Maggie Montano.

 

Bethlehem led horn to horn in a 65-59 victory over Sacred Heart Academy tonight.  Bethlehem shot 55.3% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line.  The Banshees connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 13 points off eight Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 32.4% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Bethlehem turnovers.

 

Amelia Hodges led Bethlehem with 21 points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds.  Ella Thompson added 18 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.  Carlie Thurmond recorded nine points, four assists, and two steals.  Kasey Spalding chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  6-2 So. Xaviara Smalley recorded seven points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

5-8 Sr. Danielle Schafer led Sacred Heart with 16 points including four three point baskets, and four rebounds.  Triniti Ralston added 13 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  5-7 Fr. Emi-Lee Howe recorded 11 points and four rebounds.  Josie Gilvin chipped in with nine points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Angelina Pelayo added seven points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
