Eastern Kentucky University coach AW Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-7 So. Michael Moreno, 6-5 Fr. Curt Lewis, 6-9 Jr. Tre King, 5-11 Fr. Eastern Kentucky University defeated Tennessee State University by the score of 93-73.  Eastern Kentucky shot 50% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 19 of 21 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Tennessee State turnovers.  Tennessee State shot 39.3% from the field including seven of 26 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Wendell Green Jr. led Eastern Kentucky University with 17 points including four of four free throws, seven rebounds, and five assists.  6-7 Jr. Cheikh Faye added 15 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists.  Tre King recorded 14 points including four of four free throws, and three rebounds.  Curt Lewis chipped in with 12 points including four of four free throws, 11 rebounds, and four assists.

Shakem Johnson led Tennessee State University with 16 points including six of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.  Mark Freeman added 14 points including five of seven free throws, eight rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.  Ravel Moody recorded 13 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists.  Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.  6-8 Sr. Josh Linder added eight points and three rebounds.
