Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Jayla Johnson, 5-11 Sr. Bria Bass, 6-3 So. Emma Hacker, 5-9 Fr. Alice Recanati, and 5-10 Fr. Kendall Wingler.  Tennessee State University coach Ty Evans countered with 5-10 Jr. Jordan Wrightsell, 5-9 Jr. Jasmine Broner, 5-11 Jr. Taylor Roberts, 5-7 Sr. Andreana Wrister, and 5-7 Sr. Breannah McCullah.

Eastern Kentucky University led Tennessee State University by the score of 74-62.  The score was tied four times and there were eight lead changes in the game.  Eastern Kentucky shot 44.4% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Tennessee State turnovers.  Tennessee State shot 39.7% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Kendall Wingler played all 40 minutes and led Eastern Kentucky with 21 points including six three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.  Jayla Johnson added 16 points and four rebounds.  Emma Hacker recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.  6-1 So. Anysa Jordan chipped in with 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Bria Bass recorded seven points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Taylor Roberts led Tennessee State with 19 points including nine of 11 free throws, and five rebounds.  Andreana Wrister added 10 points, six rebounds, and seven assists.  Breannah McCullah recorded nine points and two rebounds.  5-10 Fr. London Fairs added nine points on three three point baskets.
