Reed Sheppard scored 54 points including 40 in the second half with 25 of those coming in the final quarter to lead North Laurel to a 98-90 victory over a very determined Corbin squad. North Laurel shot 58.5% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 16 of 21 free throws and pulled down 32 rebounds. Corbin shot 54.2% from the field including 13 of 27 from beyond the arc. The Redhounds connected on 13 of 20 free throws and pulled down 18 rebounds.
6-3 So.Reed Sheppard led North Laurel with 54 points including five three point baskets, nine of 11 free throws, eight rebounds, and nine assists. 6-4 So. Ryan Davidson added 23 points including five of seven free throws and nine rebounds.
6-0 Fr. Carter Stewart led Corbin with 24 points including six three point baskets. 6-2 So. Hayden Llewellyn added 23 points including two three point baskets, and seven of nine free throws. 6-0 Sr. Josh Hibbits recorded 19 points including three three point baskets. 6-3 So. Brody Wells chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds. 6-5 So. Dakota Patterson added nine points and five rebounds.
