Louisville Male coach Tim Haworth started the following lineup: 6-7 So. Kaleb Glenn, 6-2 So. Demetrius White, 6-7 Sr. Dezdrick Lindsay, 6-0 Sr. Cameron Pope, and 6-0 So. Kyran Tilley.  Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-6 So. Chandler Starks, 6-5 Jr. Colin McHale, 6-7 Jr. Mitchell Rylee, 5-9 So. Evan Ipsaro, and 6-4 Sr. Donovan Stocks.

 

Covington Catholic defeated Male by the score of 70-58.  Male was plagued with foul woes to Cameron Pope who eventually fouled out and Dezdrick Lindsay who had four fouls.  Covington Catholic shot 52.8% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and committed seven turnovers.  Male shot 56.8% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.

 

Chandler Starks led a balanced Covington Catholic scoring attack with 18 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and six steals.  Evan Ipsaro added 16 points including four of five free throws, three assists, and four steals.  Donovan Stocks recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Colin McHale chipped in with 12 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.  Mitchell Rylee recorded 12 points and five rebounds.

 

Kaleb Glenn led Male with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Cameron Pope added 17 points including four three point baskets and three rebounds.  Dezdrick Lindsay recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
