Campbell County coach Aric Russell started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Reid Jolly, 6-3 Sr. Drew Wilson, 6-3 Sr. Tanner Lawrence, 5-11 Jr. Jordan Gross, and 6-1 Sr. Noah Wirth. Walton-Verona coach Grant Brannen countered with 6-4 Sr. Kameron Pardee, 6-1 Sr. Trey Bonne, 6-10 Sr. Dieonte Miles, 6-0 Sr. Garrett Jones, and 6-0 Sr. Grant Grubbs.
Campbell County defeated Walton-Verona by a score of 49-42. Campbell County shot 34.9% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line. The Camels connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Walton-Verona turnovers. Walton-Verona shot 42.9% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Bearcats connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored two points off 12 Campbell County turnovers.
Reid Jolly led Campbell County with 13 points including two three point baskets and 12 rebounds. Tanner Lawrence added 12 points and three rebounds. Drew Wilson recorded 10 points including eight of eight free throws and six assists. Noah Wirth chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and four assists. Jordan Gross added six points on two three point baskets.
Dieonte Miles led Walton-Verona with 10 points, five rebounds, and 12 blocked shots. Kameron Pardee added nine points and three rebounds. Trey Bonne recorded seven points, nine rebounds, and two assists. Garrett Jones chipped in with seven points, three rebounds, and two assists. Grant Grubbs added seven points, five assists, and two steals.
