Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Michael Corio, 6-2 Jr. Jared Gadd, 6-5 Jr. Trevor Rogers, 5-10 Sr. JaQuice Gray, and 6-2 Jr. Michael Allen.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Sr. Andreus Green, 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick, and 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown.

 

6-0 So. Robby Kinnard hit a three point basket at the buzzer in overtime to give Paul Laurence Dunbar a 72-70 victory over Henry Clay.  The score was tied eight times and there were 10 lead changes in the game.  Dunbar shot 57.1% from the field including eight of 14 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off seven Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 42.6% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 25 of 35 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 16 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Trevor Rogers led Dunbar with 19 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Michael Allen added 14 points including three three point baskets and four assists.  Jared Gadd recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  JaQuice Gray chipped in with 11 points.

 

Marquez Warrick led Henry Clay with 17 points including eight of eight free throws and five rebounds.  Jalen Williams added 14 points including three three point baskets.  Keaston Brown chipped in with 12 points and three steals.  5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson and Andreus Green each scored eight points.
