Mercy Academy coach Keith Bausch started the following lineup: 6-1 So. Taziah Jenks, 5-9 Jr. Raquael Reese, 6-3 Sr. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-5 So. Hope Sivori, and 5-9 Jr. Regan Berger.  Male coach Champ Ligon Jr. countered with 6-0 Jr. Joelle Johnson, 5-7 Jr. Destiny Combs, 6-1 Jr. Cameron Browning, 5-5 Sr. Emilia Sexton, and 5-6 Sr. Ciaja Harbison.

Mercy Academy trailed 37-30 at halftime but outscored Male 23-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 73-68 victory.  Mercy Academy shot 40.4% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 20 of 29 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Male turnovers.  Male shot 32.4% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Mercy Academy turnovers.

Taziah Jenks led Mercy Academy with 26 points including eight of 11 free throws and 10 rebounds.  Regan Berger added 14 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and four assists.  Hope Sivori recorded 14 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  Raquael Reese chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.  Danielle Feldkamp added five points, 13 rebounds, and four assists.

Ciaja Harbison led Male with 16 points including six of six free throws, six rebounds, six assists, and six steals.  Cameron Browning added 14 points and 12 rebounds.  Emilia Sexton chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets.  5-8 Sr. India Green recorded 12 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
