West Jessamine coach Damon Kelly started the following lineup: 6-3 De. DeAjuan Stepp, 6-0 Jr. Dalton Bruner, 6-3 Sr. Kyle Anderson, 5-11 Sr. Drew Cook, and 5-11 Sr. Skyler Cannady. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-7 Sr. Carter Hendricksen, 6-7 Jr. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Sr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Jr. Pearce Dalton, and 6-2 Jr. Will Hacker.
Lexington Christian Academy led 35-33 at halftime but pulled away in the second half to earn an 88-63 victory over West Jessamine. Lexington Christian Academy shot 66.7% from the field in the second half as they outscored West Jessamine 53-30 after the intermission. LCA also controlled the boards and held a 23-4 advantage in second effort points.
Lexington Christian Academy shot 56.9% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 16 of 18 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 47.2% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 LCA turnovers.
Kyle Rode led LCA with 30 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Austin Hall added 20 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Carter Hendricksen recorded 18 points including nine of 10 free throws and eight rebounds. Pearce Dalton chipped in with five points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
Drew Cook led West Jessamine with 24 points including three three point baskets. Dalton Bruner added 20 points, five assists, and four steals. Skyler Cannady recorded 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
