Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Braxton Price, 5-8 Sr. Cheyenne Jones, 5-9 Sr. Oriona Woods, 5-4 Sr. Alexis Lutz, and 5-7 Jr. Kiya Thompson.  Franklin County coach Joey Thacker countered with 5-8 Jr. Samareah Levarity, 5-5 Sr. Emily Jordan, 5-10 8th Grade Patience Laster, 5-4 8th Grade Neveah Carter, and 5-5 Sr. Kindall Tally.

 

Franklin County outscored Henry Clay 20-9 in the third quarter to gain control of the game in a 56-48 victory.  There were six lead changes and six ties in this game.  Franklin County shot 40.5% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 19 of 29 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 35.1% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  Henry Clay only connected on six of 20 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 22 Franklin County turnovers.

 

Patience Laster led Franklin County with 17 points, 18 rebounds, and four steals.  Kindall Talley added 12 points including eight of 10 free throws.  Neveah Carter recorded eight points, three rebounds, and five assists.

 

Braxton Price led Henry Clay with 13 points including two three point baskets and six steals.  Cheyenne Jones added nine points and 10 rebounds.  Kiya Thompson chipped in with eight points.  Oriona Woods recorded seven points and five rebounds.
