Moeller led 24-7 late in the second quarter but Trinity rallied to earn a 38-30 victory. Their victory was buoyed by a record-setting performance by WR Rondale Moore who set school records with 22 receptions for 304 yards and added three touchdowns. Trinity recorded 24 first downs and 441 yards of total offense. Trinity recorded 490 yards through the air but was a minus 49 yards on the ground. The Shamrocks were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Moeller recorded 16 first downs and 316 yards of total offense. The Crusaders were penalized twice for 19 yards and had two passes intercepted.
Geremiah Smith led Trinity’s ground game with eight yards on five carries. Nick Bohn completed 39 of 48 passes for 490 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Rondale Moore caught 22 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns. Nick Strothman added six receptions for 46 yards. Ryan Miller recorded four receptions for 91 yards. Anthony Palombino caught three passes for 37 yards and a touchdown. Rondale Moore returned three kickoffs for 51 yards. Alex Wilson intercepted two passes for the defense.
Miles McBride led Moeller’s ground game with 21 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Miles McBride completed 21 of 31 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. RJ Khayo caught eight passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Eric Wills added five receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown. Jack McCracken caught a 63 yard touchdown pass. Carrington Valentine returned four kickoffs for 74 yards. RJ Khayo returned four punts for 71 yards with a long return of 53 yards. Ryan Mullaney recorded 2.5 sacks for the defense.
