Henry Clay trailed 39-35 after three quarters but Henry Clay outscored the Defenders 30-13 in the final quarter to earn a 65-52 victory. There were seven lead changes and two ties in the game. Keaston Brown led Henry Clay with 19 points including 12 of 14 free throws, four rebounds, and six assists. Justin Mitchell added 12 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Andreus Green recorded nine points and eight rebounds.
Nathan Mack led Bryan Station with 15 points and four rebounds. Eric Boone added 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. David Demarcus recorded 10 points and six rebounds. Terrance Clayton-Murphy chipped in with 10 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
