Clay County defeated East Ridge by a score of 86-54. Clay County shot 58.7% from the field including 11 of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Tigers connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers. East Ridge shot 35.3% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Warriors connected on 12 of 23 from the free throw line, pulled down 25 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.
5-9 Fr. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 32 points including 11 of 13 free throws, seven assist, and four rebounds. 5-6 So. Shelby Phillips added 18 points on six three point baskets. 5-4 8th Grader Taylor Asher also scored 18 points including three three point baskets.
5-11 Jr. Brittney Tackett led East Ridge with 13 points and 11 rebounds. So. Karasta May added eight points and 5-6 Fr. Haley Parks chipped in with seven points.
